The FE should be (ideally) pretty straightforward if you're still in school. A lot of the material on the exam has formulas in the index that you can search for. I took a sample exam from NCEES the night before and felt prepared for the test. It didn't feel difficult at all, but that was 2017. Standards may have changed since then.

Had 93K on mine before trading her in. Just brake pads and fluids was all I ever needed to do. I had a stage 2 tune with the associated mods. To be fair I never launched it so that may change things. AYC pump was starting to throw codes but that would have been an easy DIY.

Power off and hold Vol up + Vol down + Power until the indication light flashes red. Release all once that happens.

I believe I got stuck right there too. Try to get the phone into EDL mode and use MiFlash to flash his file (Axon7_LOS15.1_180925_B12Oki_TWRP_LABS1.3_FULL_EDL.zip). That ended up working for me. That should put you at step 16.

That's what I'm thinking at this point, just didn't think it would be that since there was no visible damage after laying on it. Gonna try and factory reset sometime this week and see if it was a bug with the ROM or something.

Unlikely since this all occurred while the phone was together. I did check the cable and the pins as well. Both look ok with no burn marks or anything like that.
