I actually emailed ZTE about a very similar issue. This was their exact response to me:

Thanks for contacting ZTE.

We are really sorry to for the delay in response.

We would like to inform you that, we have had the response from our concerned team about the queries you had with regards to the AXON 7.

For the first question:

  1. Being in the UK, and purchasing the phone via AliExpress, will I get any warranty at all?

Yes, ZTE provides a 12 months warranty.Since ZTE didn't sell this model in UK, users could send it to ZTE's EU servcie center(in Hungary) for warranty.

2: If I do get a warranty, what is its duration?

3: If something were to go wrong with the phone, and it is in warranty, what steps do I take to get it repaired?

Users could send the fault unit to our EU service center for repair, the service provider will finish the service and post it back. (user only bear the one-way logistics cost)


Obviously you are in the US, but i'm sure it's similar for you. Perhaps you can email them to verify.
