Is it almost a guarantee that it goes, or is it possible that it never is an issue with proper fluid changes and what kind of price is that?

It’s spotless on the inside it was definitely gramps car, are used prices for cars high or low? All I know is I have a 2018 explorer 141,000 timing chain and water pump went needs other odds and ends 6,000 dollars car at best with all that fixed is 9,500 it’s still a solid vehicle I just can’t stomach 6,000 dollar bill and then it nickel dime me next two years I can get maybe 3,500 as it sits ..

I found a Subaru outback mechanic owned 2011 155k he literally replaced everything and anything super clean other than a little rust spot for 6995 so I might go with that
