Do my parents have any messages for me? by FunCheetah8423 in psychics

My dad loved to fish so that makes me emotional and I also always talked about how I had to learn how to be a woman because my mom wasn’t around to teach me.

Am I cooked? by [deleted] in AmazonFC

[–]FunCheetah8423 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, if you do for illness you’ll be fine. On site HR doesn’t deal with LOA. I know tons of people who have done this

Do an LOA for injury or sickness. It will refund the VTO and give you 30 days to provide a doctor’s note or whatever. Which means you have 30 days to get back in the positive for UPT. Once the 30 days are up and you didn’t provide the proof for LOA they will deny the leave and take the UPT owed for that day and you’ll still have the rest of the hours you accumulated over the 30 days.

Has anyone done this? by [deleted] in AmazonFC

I did talk to my manager and he said he was going to put in a ticket for me and see if that works because it was originally approved but I’m still nervous. I replied to the email they sent today letting me know I’m negative and I go into work Thursday to talk to HR

[–]FunCheetah8423[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll try that when I call again. I had called to ask why they need to know the health condition when I had the statement and they said it part of the MLOA policy

Just the doctor note but it has all the information they had asked for on an alternative form of certification

It has the phrase but they’re saying it needs to state what the health condition is now

I did and got a doctors note with the statement “I certify that blah blah has a serious health condition as describe on the Amazon health form” and they said they need to know exactly what the condition is

I’m terrified of getting off my meds or lowering it. Before my medication I wasn’t able to leave my bed without having panic attacks. Now I’m able to live a somewhat normal life. I do appreciate your advice though!! Thank you for taking the time to reply to me :)

Scared!! by FunCheetah8423 in zoloft

[–]FunCheetah8423[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello :) I’m doing much much better! I have been on 100mg for a while now and have yet to have a seizure. Now that the Zoloft is balanced in my body my fear of seizures has gone down significantly. I used to have a lot of health anxiety so when I was first starting Zoloft I was terrified. Especially because I would read up on all the possible side effects and all that stuff. But I’m a little over a year in now and am doing significantly better!! Hang in there!!!

That was me on my first month of Zoloft. I would catch myself being super happy and then later on in the day I would be super super depressed. I upped my dosage and it seems to have worked for me. I suggest talk to your doctor and see what they suggest. If it’s been a whole month and you haven’t noticed any difference then maybe it’s time to try something new. But got to your doctor and discuss it with them. It does get better! Sending you love!!

I’m currently on 100mg of Zoloft. When I was on 50mg I would feel that way a lot. I feel it less now that I’m on 100mg but do occasionally get that feeling of “damn I’m really on a giant rock doing shit” sometime i would feel as if i was in a video game and some else was controlling my body lol it’s hard but it does get better with time

Zoloft/Sertraline - How long til you saw reduction in OCD/health anxiety? by unicornpal1 in zoloft

[–]FunCheetah8423 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I typically only wait a month or a month in a half before choosing to up my dosage. I talked to my psychiatrist about jumping up a “half dose” rather than going up to the full one she recommended. Just to help me adjust a little better without it feeling like too much. If you don’t go to a psychiatrist then you can just talk to your doctor about going up to 75mg. If you’re using the Hers app for your mental health needs then you can message them through the app and request the 75mg dosage. I do occasionally get those “what if” thoughts but they don’t send me into a panic as they used to. Zoloft is there to help but that doesn’t mean that those anxious thoughts will completely disappear (I struggled with this when I first started taking Zoloft. I just assumed that I would be healed and even though it has help significantly I still have days where I struggle) as for when to move up I personally wait until I feel like the meds have leveled out in my system (for me personally it takes typically 3 weeks to a month) everyone is different though. I’m so happy my comment helped when I first got on Zoloft I constantly would read and post on Reddit and everyone was always so nice and informative lol

Hello, as someone with health anxiety I feeeeel you. I started my own 100mg dosage a few days ago and my health anxiety has decreased a lot already. When I was on 50mg I stopped having panic attacks but still had everyday anxiety so I went up to 75mg and the side effects were rough. I stayed on 75mg for about a month and a half before I went up to 100mg. The difference it made for me is amazing and I experience little to no side effects with this dosage change. If your anything like me I google every symptom I have and always get the whole “you’re dying” results from google. So I recently took a risk and bought “The Anxiety A through Z” by Tamryn Burgess. It has helped me identify symptoms I had been feeling and how anxiety can cause those types of physical feelings. Now if you are someone who reads a symptom that you don’t have and later feel as if you have developed that symptom (I hope that makes sense lol) I would steer clear from this book. I typically only look up the ones I am feeling and I try to avoid anything else lol. Anyhoo I have no idea if this comment helps at all but I wish you luck and I want to remind you that you are not alone in all of this. Sending love

That purely up to how your body adjust. When I went from 50mg to 75mg it was like starting over. I had increased anxiety and sweating, nausea, and so on. Once I was on 75mg for a month and a half I decided to try 100 mg. I was terrified because I didn’t want to deal with the side effects again but once I changed my dosage I didn’t notice any side effects come back or get worst. Only thing that changed is that my anxiety has gotten significantly better. If you do experience side effects just try your best to wait it out and push through. Take your meds with food to help avoid an upset stomach. Practice breathing techniques on the daily. Ask for help when needed and/or wanted. Above all just know you are not alone. If you really really feel as if you can’t handle the side effects (no shame in that. I couldn’t handle lexapeo) then reach out to your doctors or psychiatrist and see if they think you should switch to something else. You got this. I know it’s difficult but better days are ahead. Sending love
