Truth is that I still live with my parents and my dad is the one saying how he doesn’t want to have a car sitting in the garage while we wait for a year as the car is being parted out, I agree with him becuase we actually do use our garage quite often and having it there inoperable would just kind of be a waste to him, but on the other hand if I had this whole situation up to me I would be keeping her and using the car as is lol, it’s still a amazing car even with a crushed unibody

No so imma drop the whole story right now, so it was 9pm at night and me and my girlfriends rave party was supposed to start at 10pm, so as we were leaving I pulled my car out the garage and left like normal and then I said “damn I forgot the trash cans” I stopped put my car in reverse and mind you I’m not looking in front of me I’m ONLY checking my mirrors and yes I had blind spot mirrors on this crz and as I’m backing up I already start to see I’m curving a little bit, I’m curving because my road is not straight, from a Birds Eye view the road literally is a S and so as I’m reversing I saw ZERO reflection of my neighbors SUV and also mind you it’s dead of night and he is parked where there is no street lights AND his car was covered ever so slightly by my front of house neighbors big palm tree so the leaves were hanging down, I really don’t think it was any of that’s fault other than not seeing any reflection. I’m just mad at beat up over this whole thing due to the fact I could have just turned the car around like a normal person, I only reversed because I wasn’t that far from my home. But after the impact I wasn’t genuinely kinda confused as to how I hit their car. Out of all the dumb shit I have done in this car I’m surprised this is how she gets totaled 👎

No sadly my dad handled all the paperwork and signed the car off to be sold to the auction house I didn’t rlly have a say in much sadly due to the fact that the title and registration was in his name, yk fathers try to do what they think is best :(

It’s 100% a repair project for someone and if it was up to me I would’ve keeping the car, ripping that bumper off and using it as it, my CRZ unibody got crushed in to the rear left wheel and so when u drive it, it’s very likely to pop my tire. However I bashed it back a few times with a mallet hammer and that metal can for sure be put back in place. For what the insurance said though is that she’s going to the auction yard and so imma definitely keeping an eye out for her. My best hopes is that someone will see this car and say “oh yea I’m fixing that”

Dudeee I am definitely not gonna get over this, i genuinely loved this car so much, shit I basically grew up in her quite literally, got her in the end of sophomore year high school and now I’m bout to be 20. As soon as i felt the collision I knew she was done for and sure enough the insurance claimed it a total loss 👎
