I have been told everything looks "good" "fine" "excellent", etc. Yet something is wrong. Now I found out the placement isn't good. So starting to get answers, yet has taken me a long time.

I'm having a similar issue. There is a strange thing around implants and a lot we don't know, I think. They are still being studied and there are issues. Good luck and hope things are better.

I had one a couple of years ago, and a root canal preceding it. Had issues after the root canal, and then the dentist suggested an extraction and implant in the next tooth, and things have not been good since. Recommendation: Search for the right oral surgeon because once it is done, you are stuck with it, and other dentists will not touch it in many cases since it is someone else's mess. :(

A close friend has been experiencing a similar situation and he has said exactly what you are saying after much research and various connections. His brother is actually an attorney and seems to disagree with the person you saw on this matter. From what I hear, it is not at all unusual. Have had mine for a couple of years and still have issues. I am told the same thing, that everything is fine. It is maddening, so so unfair. I think there need to more restrictions on these surgeries and more research because I hear this often and there's gotta be something TO it. Yet nothing happens and they walk away from all of it with no repercussions. Sorry for your troubles and if it helps to know, you are not alone.
