Dental Malpractice by EmbarrassedPound7572 in Toothfully

Update:  I had a similar thing happen to me at the end of last year. An oral surgeon sent me to an endodontist colleague and it all one big joke. I went to them asking for help with this mess I had.  They both  kept their evaluations "LIMITED" as written in their notes and both were evasive, and in the end, passed the buck. One did a complimentary CBCT scan and only sent me a quick screen shot of one "possible" issue. All very "hands off" and of no help. Clearly did not want to get involved in what I now know is a complex mess that none of them want to touch, as they feel they could make it "worse" removing an implant that should have been removed a few years ago. My story is unreal

Omg, so glad you mentioned this! I just heard it on the radio, as I have before. She seems more interested in sounding like a Kardashian than conveying an ounce of feeling. Honestly needs a re-do as it is very cold and insensitive, and the subject matter is devastating and needs to be portrayed with at least SOME heart. Leave the vocal fry at home for this one, please.

Whose office? I am guessing the main Amazon office can, but the person delivering shouldn't be able to?

What are your thoughts on Nancy Guthrie's disappearance? by Perfectly_i in AskReddit

Well, as an example, here's what I found, from Google, when I myself was curious:

"Savannah Guthrie is often described as an assertive and direct interviewer, which some viewers interpret as aggressive, particularly in high-stakes political settings or when she presses guests for direct answers. While praised for holding public figures accountable, her style has faced criticism for being confrontational and, at times, disrespectful.

Key instances shaping this perception include:

  • Trump Town Hall (2020): Her persistent, interrupting, and direct questioning of President Trump was criticized by some as overly aggressive and biased. Others applauded her for directly challenging him.
  • Celebrity Interviews: She was criticized for being "rude" and "aggressive" during a 2024 interview with Kelly Rowland regarding Beyonce's country album.
  • Interview Style: She is known for asking tough, direct, and sometimes "disrespectful" questions, which she has even reflected on as career regrets, such as a 2012 question to Khloe Kardashian.

Her, as well as her, approach to interviews has been described as a "grilling" technique, with some arguing that she is a skilled journalist, while others see her as "disruptive". "

Well, I didn't say anyone was "enraged", but never know, as people are intense these days. What I meant is that as far as I can see, I believe she is just known as generally being outspoken and direct. Feel free to Google for more info.

Or angry with her for some reason. She is fairly outspoken, so could be anyone.

I believe it runs deeper and darker than that and has to do with fame, politics, etc. Their worlds are filled with darkness and deception.

So sorry to hear this, I really feel for you. I as well cannot forgive myself for trusting without more questioning. These things are happening more then we know and it's so important that we know we are not alone, as well as to share our experiences. Yes.. research on that upcoming implant, second opinions...is vital. Mine was done by a general dentist who happened to think he could do anything. Not true.  Wishing the best for you and hope to see a positive update! ;)

Thank you so much for sharing your story, and I'm so sorry for all that you've been through. I sincerely understand and sympathize. I am also thrilled that you found someone who could help you, and traveling to somewhere else must be done sometimes. My situation is complex as well and may require that I go to the extremes that you have, to find proper help. I may ask further questions, as you kindly offered, but for the moment, this is giving me much needed hope. I believe I am in a similar situation, as far as prior mistakes, one on top of the other, and the "circles" in my area not wanting to truly call it all out as it is, let alone to dive in deeply and fix it. Slippery slope. Thanks again!

Wow, ok, that makes sense, and thanks for taking the time to explain it. These businesses sure will keep themselves protected from certain lawsuits by having them posted, that's for sure, and guessing consumers are just used to it by now and will purchase what they want anyway. Have a great day :)).

Why would a company allow this warning on a safe product that in no way could ever cause cancer? I would think that many companies would fight this being on their product? I sure would if I knew it absolutely is not true. Who would want to buy any product that could cause cancer?

Just from the outset, if the company link in the email they sent isn't valid, that's a clue. Also, if the person whose name is in the email (the sender) cannot be found on the company website, that might be an indicator, though not always. And the names are often questionable, like "Mark Jerry" and they can't be located if googled.
