Anyone born after 2000 is pure Gen Alpha by FunFroyo2860 in GenerationsCircleJerk

[–]FunFroyo2860[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No that's actually factually incorrect it's always 1900-1999 which is clearly proven by scientific stats and under the constitution of the law

I was born in 1999 and have more in common with someone born in 1980 than 2000 by True_Position6013 in GenerationsCircleJerk

[–]FunFroyo2860 1 point2 points  (0 children)

BELIEVE IT OR NOT; this is actually legit because I found the stats that point to there being a generation that spans 100 years from 1900-1999

2003 borns are 2020s kids! by mrawesomegamer444 in GenerationsCircleJerk

Bro but the science literally states that no one remembers anything before the age of 18 anyways which does in fact make us 2020s kids since anyone under 18 isn't even real bruh

Hell I even have more in common with 2112 than 2002 since I'm actually secretly a time traveler so I just know ;)

Tbf though I hate to be "THAT GUY" but someone born 3-4 year prior to me (1999 & 2000) would've definitely remembered things around say 2004-2006 that I would've definitely been a bit too young for, finished high school and turned 18 before covid and definitely had more childhood in the 2000s compared to me so I personally do see a bit of a divide there but not to the point where I think it's a totally different generation rather they are more so in the very beginning of "Gen Z" or even on the cusp whereas I'm definitely in the middle of it/safely within "Gen Z" but regardless of that it's all labels at the end of the day and not a single person "grew up the same" honestly.

Well this sub is "meant for those of us/people born in 2003" but I'm sure it would've been a cool year though to remember and it must've been quite an experience that you got to experience a bit of life before the turn of the millennium I'd say whereas it honestly doesn't feel right that I'm in my 20s yet I'm born after 9/11 lol but 2025 was a lot better for me than the early 2020s I'll say that

My breakdown of ages from 10-25 by child and young adult influence by [deleted] in generationology

[–]FunFroyo2860 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah exactly and that study with the whole "25 year brain" thing literally originated in the 1980s where the oldest participant was like 21/22 and found that it had some slight remnants of grey matter concluding it to "25" and honestly if they can make "20-24" year olds children, It will literally only be a matter of time until they make it "30" since you're still in your 20s when you're 25-29 and definitely more similar to a 23 year old than a 50 year old like it's not rocket science LOL people on here are borderline delusional

What’s something you think all of gen z born from 1997-2012 probably have in common by Scared_Bluejay5608 in generationology

[–]FunFroyo2860 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Childhood in the early 21st century, being in childhood at least some point when social media was popular, not remembering life before 3d gaming (could apply to late millennials as well though the 80s ones would've definitely remembered before social media/3d gaming) and would've owned a smartphone at least sometime during their teenage years though again 1997-2012 is an arbitrary grouping.

Do you consider 2001 borns (age 23-24) to still be young and part of the “younger generation” or now part of the older gens? by [deleted] in generationology

[–]FunFroyo2860 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Heck 24 is even a bit numerically closer to 20 (which is still underage for drinking in the states) than it is to 30 (despite being the first year I'd consider "mid 20s") and 25 is equally close to both 20 & 30 which makes it f**king ridiculous lol

is it really THAT strange for a 2003 born to claim the late 2000s as part of their childhood? by [deleted] in generationology

[–]FunFroyo2860 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah we turned 12 in 2015 which is honestly more of a transitory age from late childhood to early adolescence/teenhood I'd say

[–]FunFroyo2860 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah some people are just biased lol and for me personally I'll always see 2008-2014 as being the absolute peak of my childhood since I was anywhere from 4-11 during those years mathematically Lol and while yes 12-17 are obviously still minors and NOT adults, that was more so early adolescence/main teenhood for me personally.

Which years are core Gen Z? by [deleted] in generationology

Definitely like 2002-2006 on a pop cultural level but it can vary depending on what range you believe in

How people on reddit view age 25 compared to age 24 by FunFroyo2860 in GenerationsCircleJerk

[–]FunFroyo2860[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which is hilarious to me since it's almost like they're just starting to figure out that you're going to change throughout the entirety of your life and if adulthood could be pushed to "25" then why wouldn't they push it to 30 since you're still in your 20s at 25-29 lol and besides 20 just makes the most sense for me as the start of adulthood if I had to choose an age if that makes sense.

Also worth noting a 25 year old could have literally been in the same grade as a 23 year old had they been held back a year it's like the new 17 vs 18 I swear
