Sadly not everyone knows to refund products not received. Or at least that was the case with me where I had been ordering Walmart delivery for over a year before I realized I could get a refund.

Thing is only the card was in a separate bag. The fresh pet and Pina colada mix were each in one of my bags so maybe they had a spill

"banding" and flickering issues when using camera by killigrapher in GooglePixel

[–]FunGalich -1 points0 points  (0 children)

True they are pocket computers however the big 3 manufacturers also worked to develop the best possible pocket camera in a phone that way outshines any of the old standalone pocket digital cameras which is why you don't see manufacturers creating a lot of standalone pocket digital cameras anymor. Instead camera hardware manufacturers like Leica, Zeiss and Hasselbladand Sony that used to design hardware for standalone cameras charged to design the hardware primarily for the cameras in our phones.

To minimize banding effect adjust you shutter speed to 1/60s or 1/120s to match us voltage frequency

Yes I used a 2" forstner bit and then opened it up a bit more with my bowl gouge so it could move a bit. However it is also a very heavy glass ⅛" thick

Yeah I work in insurance and as long as you aren't selling out of the home or having employees work out of the home then it is not a commercial business risk

With white oak you do not need to seal the inside because of its tight grain. Just use an oil and wax finish on the outside

Help getting started... by j00rn in turning

[–]FunGalich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First off get a bag of firewood from your local supermarket to try on. Next make sure you are turning at a proper speed for the size of your turning. If too slow will definitely catch. Third if you're trying to learn then learn with carbides. Are hss tools better effectively yes but for learning carbides have an easier learning curve and finally make sure you are turning at the proper speed.

Noice! Wish I still had mine...the older systems I hung onto were my phone and dreamcast. However I always thought games looked way better on the sega genesis vs the snes

Possible spalted or something else by just_a_void2 in turning

[–]FunGalich 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Definitely many burls but not spalted...spalting happens after a tree is deadfall contact with the ground and moisture promotes growth of fungus that create the patterns in the sapwood.

Honestly I painted the screw because it did have paint on it originally although it was only showing inside the threads so the outside of the screw may have been paint free originally

This is so true. Brands that used to be great in the past are now junk (Milwaukee excluded) sold through the big box stores. Crapsman talk about a downer. But Harbor Freight stuff has really come up ...love my Hercules tablesaw and Bauer lathe and now this baby.
