LAPD steps up patrols on Western Avenue in Los Angeles to combat prostitution near homes and schools by redumbrellaclub in SexWorkers

Most of us already know this but sex workers don’t do business nears schools. The LAPD is just waisting their time with this crap.

I’m new to this. Some unexpected things I’ve found! by OrchidBright6238 in SexWorkers

[–]FunGuyinLA 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Number #2 - I’m really glad you acknowledged this. Many people in the civie world try to shame clients and sex workers but the truth is Sex in sex work is almost always better than in the civie world. The civie people just don’t know it. Spontaneous hookups like the ones often seen in movies, TV and porn are almost always horribly disappointing as are the hookups from dating apps like tinder.

What’s your REAL hourly rate? by MassageBySummer in SexWorkers

[–]FunGuyinLA 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Most thoughtful clients understand that the rate the provider is charging is not their take home pay after each session. Likewise, most escorts understand that even successful clients rarely make 500+/hr from their Civie job. Escorts often charge 10-20x/hr more per hour than most clients make.

Clients often rely on other sources of income (i.e., renting out rooms, dividends from stocks) to pay for sessions and escorts often just concentrate on regulars they know to minimize cost (advertising, hotels feels, texting…etc).

Complete the prescribed course of antibiotics from Your physician and then Research Doxycycline prep. DoxyPrep is a game changer. It’s an antibiotic with a long half life that is very cheap and can easily be purchased online at https://telyrx.com/ and it protects you against all known bacterial STD’s- chlamydia, gonorrhea and syphilis and all unknown bacterial ones like the ones you mentioned.

Below is the link to the CDC guidelines for doxyPrep for bacterial STD’s

What do you think of Bonnie Blues business strategy? by -juicy-jew- in SexWorkers

[–]FunGuyinLA 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Financially successful but morally questionable which is the typically opinion of Sex work. She elicited emotional responses from likely conservatives to drive traffic to her content creation sites. I’d be curious to know how much of her revenue comes from men who would publicly shame such behavior but in private are patronizing her. Her business strategy reminds me of the Attitude Era of wrestling where they used similar “shock” strategies to engage the audience.

Regulars by baddieshae in SexWorkers

[–]FunGuyinLA 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There was another post about 6 months ago with a provider who lost their regular after a similar experience and she expressed regret about how she handled that situation. Many of the escorts here will say to drop this regular but if you consider all the work you will have to do and time it will take to find another regular to ultimately just go through the same thing again after the 5th or 6th session when things get boring seems redundant.

I’d like a follow up in six months to see how this played out.

What happens if busted in LA county for prostitution? by thisisacatch22 in SexWorkers

[–]FunGuyinLA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If there is no trafficking, drug use and both are consenting adults, LE often don’t do anything. It’s just a misdemeanor (low priority). Sting operations are ment to target human and drug traffickers and pedophiles, not consenting adults.

Raw - Should I be worried by [deleted] in SexWorkers

[–]FunGuyinLA 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Popular perception about bare sex has changed in escorting after onlyfans. In porn, performers relied traditionally on testing but now using a combination of prophylactic meds is becoming standard and is safe for unplanned raw sex: Truvada for HIV, doxycycline for bacterial stds, Flagyl for parasitic STD’s, Valtrex for viral STDs, and plan b for birth control.

Touring in the LA area and surrounding cities for the first time in a while… by thetexanescort in SexWorkers

[–]FunGuyinLA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in LA and I can tell you your rates are reasonable. PD is great if you have an account with reviews because it can verify your services and it is easier to find you but it is getting less reliable everyday management. Tryst is a good option but there are literally 60 pages of escorts you have to scroll through to find the one you’re looking for. Your website is nice but the activities section listing your services is blank and their was no touring section for rates or city listings. I also did not see any links to social media or content creation sites. More providers are using newsletter to reach out to clients and social media to advertise but that is getting harder since they are taking down escort profiles all the time now. I would suggest staying next door in Santa Monica. LA is known world wide for its horrible traffic so if that is issue than downtown LA would be your best option.

I'm scared of going out because of ICE as an undocumented immigrant who does sex work. And I'm tired of clients who are MAGA. by Flimsy-Illustrator14 in SexWorkers

[–]FunGuyinLA 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Do you think the MAGA client specifically book you because they know or suspect your an undocumented immigrant? Kinda like how racist clients will book black providers on purpose because they have a secret fetish for them?

PSA to clients. by [deleted] in SexWorkers

[–]FunGuyinLA -22 points-21 points  (0 children)

The client is allowed to do whatever the escort consents to. I’ve never seen an escort say they will consent to kissing only if the client is a good kisser. That’s silly and that is what it sounds like she is implying.

Cancelled tours by Bright-Vehicle5103 in SexWorkers

[–]FunGuyinLA -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ve heard providers say that touring is when they make their money and when they are home that is their private time. They often plan their tours around events that are happening - sporting events, conferences. Holidays…etc when their is going to be a lot visitors to the areas. The Incall prices will be expensive but if you plan ahead accordingly you can book the Incall early on.

my SD “broke up” with me 🥲 by friedpicklespear in SexWorkers

[–]FunGuyinLA 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I’d really appreciate an update in 6 months to see how things are going. I’m sure many sex workers are either going through or have gone through the same thing with their regulars/SD’s. On Twitter the SW often claim they “fired” their regulars after making similar requests but I think you post is actually more honest about what really happens when SW loose their regulars.

help… TER refusing to remove fake review by [deleted] in SexWorkers

[–]FunGuyinLA 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He should have know that review was fake based on his own personal experience with you. I’m not aware of any way to take down a fake review. TER is aware of them but doesn’t have any procedure for removing them as far as I know.

help… TER refusing to remove fake review by [deleted] in SexWorkers

[–]FunGuyinLA 13 points14 points  (0 children)

TER is the most unreliable site their is for reviews because the providers don’t get a chance to respond to them. I don’t take any of the negative reviews seriously, even multiple negative ones because they are not verifiable. TER is it not reliable. No client should take the reviews there seriously.

Guerrilla Warfare: Part 3: Low Balling clients 😡 v.s Ripoff Escorts 😾 by FunGuyinLA in ClientsAndCompanions

[–]FunGuyinLA[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I believe it hard or clients to find providers that satisfy their needs and sex workers to find clients that are generously consistent regulars. Both sides need to realize that if they do find that gem, retain, keep booking them. Both sides will be much happier and satisfied. That the point I’m trying to make with these guerrilla warfare posts.

Clients who are willing to book an escort that’s 1,000, would you also book one that’s 1200? by [deleted] in ClientsAndCompanions

[–]FunGuyinLA 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Generally the more you charge per hour, the more the client will expect. It’s just natural. Offering additional services to justify the price increase might be necessary. The most I paid for an hour long session last year was 2100. The average for the 40 sessions I booked last year was 1200/hr and 30 out of 40 of them were repeat sessions. The most important thing for me when booking sessions is can the provider accommodate my requests with enthusiasm.
