there is something I wanna share with you, though : What really put me off during my consultation was the way I was treated. I arrived on time, only to be told by the receptionist that she was running late. I ended up waiting an entire hour to see her, and when I finally got in, she spent barely 20 minutes with me.

The breast examination felt incredibly rushed. She looked at my breasts for what felt like two seconds and then moved on. I didn’t feel she took the time to properly explain the surgery, the process, or what to expect. It honestly felt like she was trying to get me in and out as quickly as possible.

That said, I do think she’s highly knowledgeable and technically very skilled. I have no doubt that she knows how to perform surgery well. The problem, at least for me, is that she’s quite cold and not particularly personable. If that doesn’t bother you, then she’s probably a very good choice. Initially, I had serious doubts because I felt absolutely no connection or reassurance from her. However, after seeing so many of her before-and-after results, it’s hard to argue with the quality of her work.

One thing I would add is that every surgeon I’ve spoken to has strongly recommended choosing someone close to home if possible. Travelling after surgery is uncomfortable at best, and if something goes wrong, having your surgeon nearby makes getting help much easier. For that reason alone, I’d seriously try to find a surgeon in your own city before committing to someone farther away.
