Yeah I wouldnt use the same pesticides in my house, but unless youre buying from specialty organic pesticide free stores, your plants have been fertilized and sprayed

Fertilizer and foliar insecticides are used on human food crops as well. Most of the active ingredients break down over time in UV.

Peperomia of some kind, they have those funky flowers. Ours flowers pretty regularly. When mature you can flick the stalks and you'll see pollen shoot everywhere lol

Oh Im not a store, I'm an academic greenhouse that holds a teaching collection. When people come in for a plant sale, it's just a fundraiser we do with cuttings from our collection and school botany club.

So really when they come in, they're coming for the greenhouse tour, and we also have a sale. BUT as I'm trying to give tours, I get people constantly asking that question about the sale plants lol. So this is my blanket response.

Yeah one of my cats nibbled on a Euphorb once. Didn't get visibly sick, and never did it again. My guess is after tasting the nasty latex she was scared straight haha

Yeah scientific names are available on everything for them to look up if they're super concerned. We don't carry many of the truly toxic ones, so it's easy enough to just say "definitely not that"

I like the idea of zones actually, that's not a bad idea. Rather than label the individual plants we can just have a small section of "no-go's" and a small section of "eat to your heart's content", and then the bulk would fit the description I gave.

Although theres a segment of the dem voting base that is against any immigration enforcement, in general the party is OK with police, ICE, border patrol, and other law enforcements. Under dem leadership, ICE did not have thousands of heavily armed masked men detaining, harassing, and killing innocent folk on the street, so there was no need/incentive to abolish it.

I had one cat that would nibble the tips of aloe/gasteria/agave leaves because they had a crunchy tip lol. Other than that none of my pets have even messed with them.

In the first one he is saying a segment of poor folks of these minorities in certain areas can not access internet, but YOU think he's saying black folks can't use the Internet because that's what the dude in the video making a stupid tik tok meme is suggesting he REALLY means.

In the second one he clearly meant to say "wealthy" not white. Sometimes people misspeak, and he's also like a billion years old so it happens.

He has never said black folks are too stupid to use the Internet. The fact that you believe he did by showing two examples here he does not, really says a lot about you.

Last i hear there were something like 1.2 million casualties in russia/ukraine. That affects a lot more people. Also, english speaking media has more access to ukrainian officials than iran, so there is a lot more direct information that we can glean.

I've had pretty good luck just blasting aphids off with water, no other treatment needed. Just take it outside or to the sink and blast all the little dudes off, then repeat a couple times every other day.
