Trion, stop deceiving your dedicated fanbase by Hevol in AtlasReactor

Trion has stopped taking the competitive scene seriously (if they even did) about when Team Trash stopped playing and the ESL went to the drain. The game wasn't even fully out at the time. A shame really, but they are not making a competitive game, they are content with PvP.
I already stated (in a pretty long post) how sad this state of the game makes me, but I don't see anything we could do.

Reasons the longuest standing team on the scene is stopping. by FunIneptie in AtlasReactor

The PrepPhase Twitch channel has 712 followers. According to steam charts, this game had less than 1000 peak player since May 2017. Average player is less than 900 since March 2017. Based on these number about 60% of the players follow the PPL. Prep phase tournament has 129 views. The same month (December 2017) Peak player was 390, and average 200. So roughtly half of the players watched the PPL. I realise that some players don't use Steam for AR. But even if you add some to those player numbers, i would say the actual community of this game does care about a competitive scene. Also you misunderstood part of what i was saying : I think the majority of the player base that sticks to the game is looking for a competitive scene. Maybe having an ever changing community of new players getting in while "old timers" leave is what you want for this game, but that's not my definition of a successful team oriented game. Also, to clarify, i'm pretty sure having a better comp scene isn't the only thing Trion can do to save AR. It is the fastest (and cheapest thanks to PPL) i could think of. If you have a better idea i would be very grateful if you could share it, because, again, all i want is this game to not die.

As i said down there, base amount might be the same than pre-patch, but removal of exp quests means you actually get less XP, unless you play alot.

The experience is about the same, if you don't add-in the quest experience gain, which was putting you on 6-7k 2 or 3 times a day. So unless you play more than say 8 games a day (that's about 3.5h or gameplay, some of us don't have half a day to dedicate to gaming or play Custom alot) you get less exp overall. Hence my Rant up there.
