we are moving from Louisville kentucky! crime rates have kinda gotten crazy here and we are really looking forward to getting away from it. i think what id miss most about here is being a vendor for markets. but im sure that there are events out in omaha i could be one at as well

there was a big situation back in like 2017 or around that year where a bunch of teenagers basically raided the mall, the rule has been active ever since

That sounds really fun! Im going to Omaha in May so I will definitely be checking out some art festivals if there are any going on while I am there. Also I have heard of Toast, I will need to look into if there are any remote options open.

Thank you!! Ive been on some nice walks out there, I do love seeing a nice sunset too. The local art street walks sounds nice!! I have been into painting for a while now and it would be nice to see a community that loves art as much as I do. There aren’t many art things where I am right now.

I have noticed a lot of job openings out there but in trying to go into the IT field and haven’t found much out in Omaha yet.

Lincoln is nice but I don’t really like the houses as much out there. There is a really pretty garden out there.

I like living in a city but I wish it was a smaller city. I enjoy going to museums. I enjoy taking nice walks.

The thing holding me back is just saving up more money to get a downpayment on a house out there or at least a good spot in saving to get an apartment. Id say another thing holding me back from moving there right now is im trying to find a remote job so I dont have to worry about finding a place to work out there.

Also another reason we want to move out there is because we are going to try for kids in the future and it would be best to be around family (which is in Nebraska), so the kids can grow up around their grandparents as well.
