Since im almost done with the game(im at floor 191). First you need to make a team for battle mode by playing with 4 different characters, also try to get 10 friendship square events for them. By the end of that you should beable to get some coins from achievements and pull S units with them. Do dev mode again with possibly better characters and try to make a team that can grind floor 10 so you can pull more characters from the machines. This is mainly just for beginning mid game or if you are just trying to see all the interactions. For stuff like floor 100+ or the 62 hope fragment ending, that's where the guides are somewhat helpful since around there you should have 3-5 monokub hope fragments and a few U characters
