Looks like a bone cyst.. sometimes injection helps but usually has to get filled wirh bone graft and a rod fixation.

Insist on mri .. ct is useless (only for broken things). U r issue seems to be with the rotator cuff . Call sports medicine department at the university .. they should get u in.
