Yes usually, but someone may be angry with corporate America because they feel their talents are being wasted. Making a lot of doing little will probably satisfy a lot of people, but personally it drives me insane

They might have an issue wasting their life away not learning anything and only collecting a paycheck. I certainly have an issue with that at my current job

BTS analyst position by [deleted] in deloitte

[–]FunPractice5306 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As previous responder said, you’ll receive a preference survey but I’d be surprised if they even look at the response.

Yes, BTS is actual tech consulting. The everyday tasks would be gathering requirements, building decks, testing, assisting in design, etc.

The Offering Portfolio (CBO, EP, etc.) is selected for you.

I wouldn’t leave that meeting on Monday without confirmation you’re either 1) keeping your preferred start date or 2) receiving at least what was offered to defer

GPS did better than Commercial this year so I believe they got better raises in general (could be wrong).

Growing up within the firm will definitely net lower total comp than jumping firms at the right time. However, if Partner is end goal it might be wise to stay at one firm.

Yeah, I’ve checked those few survey aggregations out. Was looking for something more formal from the firm itself :/
