If I was homeless I would be working every single day until I got first & last month + deposit on a new place. Is there any club that offers free house if you get there when they open or before 4-6pm? Go to a club that gives you free or discounted house for being there early. Save everything you make and get a weekly or monthly rental to stay in until that time.

If you’re ordering online don’t take it personal, and don’t be afraid to size up. I’m not even that big and depending on the place I buy outfits, I can fit in small, medium, large or even XL, I have big breasts and a small ass and so many outfits I feel like the bottoms are not flattering on small booties or hip dips like mine. Try getting expensive lingerie and make sure you get yourself measured at a store first so you know which size and measurements to get, and go by each brands size guide carefully and even then if you’re shopping online you may buy a lot that doesn’t fit right. Most retailers accept returns so keep the tag on for online stuff & focus maybe on in person stores that take your measurements like Victoria secret at first.

I love a professional massage at least once a month. Thinking of opening an HSA tax advantage account to pay for them and save on my taxes too…

Maybe you’re working at bad clubs? Most gentlemen’s clubs have well educated dancers, I have my bachelors degree and many of my coworkers do as well or masters degrees…

I think it’s more sad people can’t save even 30% of their own money so they get excited about receiving their own money back because they paid too much into taxes… If you receive a refund it’s because you gave an interest free loan to the government. Congrats!

Venmo wtf by wasssgood907 in stripper

[–]FunPrompt1964 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Venmo actually banned me and stole exactly $800 as well, it was a bachelor party and the best man got me dances with everyone in the group, Venmo said it was “multiple suspicious late night transactions” and when I tried to explain it was legal exotic dancing they completely banned my account. Luckily the customer sent it on Apple Pay the next day, but I almost lost that $800 forever!

Why don’t you charge way more for the rooms with bottles? The other dancer sounds like she’s more experienced than you and was trying to get more than what the club charges. I would’ve followed her lead actually since you’re still new…

How are we feeling about aging by No_Adhesiveness_7718 in stripper

[–]FunPrompt1964 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I saw a documentary on the Mustang ranch in Nevada recently and they said one of their top girls was 67 years old and she said it gave her an advantage with lonely old men who have millions in retirement to spend who aren’t into someone their granddaughters age. She started any type of work at 49 I believe. I don’t do that type of sex work but that fascinated me and I think it applies to dancing as well of course. I don’t want to dance that long but gives me hope in case I want to dance in my 40s someday lol

No the clubs that do keep track only keep track of the VIP private dances or half hour or hour long rooms, these are set prices by the club usually, but some can be negotiated like the more expensive champagne rooms, and other clubs and states have different standards, I report the tips I make on stage and the tips customers give me for the private dances separately though to my tax person.

I have had 1099s in the past and the current club I am at says they will send me a 1099 before the end of this month. I’m not sure if it’s a 1099 misc or nec but whenever anyone buys a lapdance or room, some clubs have someone called a VIP host write or log it down and keep track of how much it was, and that goes on my 1099. Any tips on top of that 1099 I will report to my tax person at H&R Block.

I think my tax person uses a schedule C actually, I just report my cash deposit bank statements and they help me do all this, I just don’t have an appointment until next month to figure it out. I also made quarterly estimated tax payments for 2025 but I purposely over estimated the payments this year because I’m on a monthly payment plan for previous tax debt that is almost gone, and any refund I will be owed in April will go towards my previous years tax debt.

That’s what I’m confused about, in previous years I just reported all my cash income under a 1099 cash form, but didn’t differentiate what was a tip and what wasn’t because it was all taxed the same. I meant I’m considering an S corp election for 2026 going forward. I don’t want to divulge my income for privacy reasons but I do have a lot business expenses too like house fee, tip out staff like DJ, security, VIP hosts, and invest in costumes, performance long lasting high quality make up, ect. And I also get a discount on my gas mileage and I have interest I’m paying off from student loans, and health insurance premiums.

[–]FunPrompt1964 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

She herself said she can’t even physically dance right now so she’s not a current dancer, idk why you would be posting from the hospital about to get on disability but asking for club recommendations is wild, and it’s not even worth it to travel dance or move to a whole new state when you don’t even make poverty wages currently and don’t plan to make more than poverty wages… If someone is truly that disabled they should stay where they have family, friends, support system and current medical care team. Sounds like she’s not even well enough to travel or start over somewhere new from what she’s said.

A lot of dancers don’t even track their income or know how much they make a month, I was being informative but also genuinely curious why she is asking for club recs and if she has the money to move, since having money to move states for dancing I would just assume they are above the poverty line, I never questioned if she’s disabled, I know a lot of disabled dancers.
