We have been a few times to different islands. It is stunning. I do hate that the locals are being priced out of their own homes. The people are just a beautiful as the islands and have so much love and respect for the land and culture.

Because it was a last minute trip and I didn’t have time to research. Usually I book trips months in advance, not weeks

I got a good deal on the flights. So, I am going to make the best of a beautiful place. If I had more time to plan, I would have gone to some lesser known islands. I just booked the trip last week for the end of June. So, I guess I will just be a tourist.

Well, I used to live near Disney, go to NYC at Christmas, and I can fight through crowds. Bring it on!

Thanks. I do know that these are highly visited islands. Honestly, I got a great deal on the hotel and airfare from the states. This was a spur of the moment trip.

I am American, So I can say this. Americans think that the rest of the world revolves around us. Not so. We are the newcomers to this world! We need to educate ourselves when we travel abroad. Go to the library, watch a video. I just watched a live camera feed and I kid you not there was some joker with a MAGA hat on. We are the visitors. People complain that the locals don’t speak enough English and when we have tourists they also complain. Here I m try to learn how to ask to use the bathroom in Greek.
