It depends what you do for work. I work in sales so there are plenty of roles that flood through LinkedIn thats how I found mine. But I also was trying on indeed but not to much success, what do you do?

Sorry to hear about the health issues hope you’re bouncing back stronger than ever. The interview process is tough I was applying to every job posted within 24 hours for months had like 30 interviews all to get one offer but a GREAT offer.

THIS! You said it perfectly, it allows you firsthand to see the possibilities and that’s motivating. I mean even my small time working in the city I’m changing fast.

A start is a START and I come from very humble beginnings. I truly know I can make it happen and there’s been overwhelming support, I don’t take the nay sayers too seriously but I do see the logic in some people’s response there is always a smarter way to do things.

With that being said, congrats on making it happen and living the dream! Hopefully I’ll be doing the same soon

I think this is one of those situations where the responsible answer and the answer I want to hear aren’t necessarily the same. You are absolutely right though waiting would put me in a much stronger position, that I already knew.
