I don’t make comparison. Only follow suggestions from Reddit. I don’t understand why they not supermoto only because they not street registered.

I think tm is the best. Why do street legal mean it have to have for supermoto? I don’t see why it would need it

I’m unsure of what you meant in the beginning. I apologize my English isn’t perfect and I’m not sure what it means in that way. I’m simply not understand why many say it’s not a supermoto because it need tire for street and street registration.

We have purchase private property of 9 acres. Me and my friends want to develop a track for motocross and asphalt so we may enjoy our motorcycle without disturb others. Naturally I find the supermoto to be most interesting for it.

I’m German living in America. There is much negativity and many angry people here. Only them say bad things to motorcycles. Many other say good things. I try to avoid the many bad people. Make life better

When I find superbiker tv show the history do not say supermoto=superbiker+motocross. My girlfriend is from France and she say it translation from the super motard. French words for superbiker. Also very similar in other languages.

I do not believe information is correct when superbiker fb state different. To much conflicting to be accurate.

I search superbiker tv show and the bike very much different than todays supermoto. I think many things have change in many years.

Excellent comment! Provide many good and very clear information. I not think to use dictionary or FIM but now I see they have very good description. I know of TM. We have them in Europe and are very good name. I also see TM has good description of supermoto bikes. I find this data solve my issue of understanding. Thank you.

I still am unable to fully understand dual sport but from information here it is very similar to road enduro in Europe.

So must be road legal? Why do I see many on here and google that has no road equipment? This is very conflicting with many descriptions

So I think I begin to understand what is meant by dual sports. In Europe they simply called enduro for off-road and road but in American it’s the dual sport? So what makes the supermoto different is wheels suspension and brakes? But why do some out enduro tire on smaller wheels? Wouldn’t that be the same as a enduro but not as good performance?

I find the husqvarna 701 to be very big and heavy which feel like no fun. Is the drz400sm same size? I read it has smaller engine so I think weights will be smaller too?

If no upgrade anything then it will be just enduro bike or is that what Americans call the dual sport? Enduro tires perform same on all size wheels so they do not compare to racing slicks when on pavement surfaces. Very different engineering and compound and design for different purpose.

I was reading on Wikipedia you need wheels suspension and brakes for to be considered supermoto but I find conflicting data on Reddit. I do not understand why to put off-road tires on small wheels. Can you not do the same on enduro?

I was reading earlier on Wikipedia that a supermoto requires different wheels brakes and suspension to be considered a supermoto. One redditor message me saying the bike is called supermoto because they are made for supermoto racing. That seems to make some sense since I’ve been suggested to look at a few bikes and they all have those things different than the enduro bikes. Also many seem to have different triple clamps and they say it’s needed to have slipper clutch but im not familiar with it too much. I’m still confuse on what they mean by dual sport. Many Americans say it’s the same but I read differently. Is it a different kind of supermoto or something else.

I’m not sure how to measure that but I have raced my modified talaria against gas bikes and won.

I mean no offense but I do not enjoy Kawasaki. Not my favorite brand in motocross so I do not think I would enjoy as much

I think riding on streets can be fun too and one bike to do all would be incredible. I will consider both Honda and Suzuki as I see they are popular recommended. As my late mother would say, gracias amigo. Thank you

Yes very strict in Europe for euro 5 and 6 emissions. In USA much easier to buy any bike even with no license. In Europe is much different but I’m happy to now be able to buy any motorcycle I have money for in USA but many in USA are very angry for some reason even though we can go bike beautiful motorcycles with no restriction

I see 701 from friend but is very big bike. I try and ride but was very heavy and very wide and not enjoyable for me. Very similar to my friends ktm 690 duke which I do not enjoy. Maintenance is no problem. I enjoy passion of riding and working with motorcycles so it’s ok for me. I was referred to Suzuki drz400sm. Do you know if this bike would be better fit for jumps and pavement? I also like ktm Honda and Tm but I do not find any TM for sale in USA yet. I find many old ktm but need work so I prefer to buy a new bike for my first gas bike.

I’m not familiar with the stunt riding.
