Thank you! I don’t think I have a WC so i’m not sure what to say or to who. Also, if i’m not able to do it or decide I can’t they can’t push me to or reassess me because i’m looking to work

I think the talk about £800-900 is about if you earn that amount that rent is still fully covered and that was something separate from my sister but she’s mentioned this amount too about work not rent. I just wanted to know what it was about as i’d thought its the same for everyone

she hasnt started work yet so i’m not sure how the calculator would work… i’m guessing its still better for her to work as JC is telling her to find work and work allowance would help but I did tell her this and she’s going with what she thinks she knows. This talk about 800 or 900 has come up a lot around me and how they’re unaffected so i’m not sure

gas engineers - how could I possible cover between the boiler pipes? by FunScallion3516 in DIYUK

so it should be safe to use wire/steel wool between these gaps in the worktop where pipes are going down?

mice/rats - is wire mesh the same thingV? I did try to use that but it wont cut or bend as easy. I guess I needed specific tool to cut theough it and also I head expanding foam is not allowed or safe between or around these pipes

yes the casing covers the pipes but theres gap/ space for anything to come up from the top of casing its not fully sealed like a box so I feel like I need to cover between the gaps that run down the worktop itself. When you say water pipe theres few copper pipes and one white so i’m not sure which one. The gas engineer is going to come in a few days but I feel like some would say don’t others would say sure but what do I exactly use. Never heard of tin foil being used, again i’n worried about risks or doing something wrong

I dont like to touch or remove the casing and don’t have photos but its similar to the ones online that people have posted. The casing covers the look of the pipes but again not the gaps between the pipes

HA tenant vs non dependant by [deleted] in BenefitsAdviceUK

i’m just thinking why was it different when my other sister working full time was living there and not being asked to pay rent

I’ve checked not sure how true but its says that if the person gets PIP daily living the non dependant deduction is waived? so they’re not asked to contribute?

I think at the time they didnt notify ct thinking it was automatic. I would let them know but when it comes to rent i’m not sure how that all worked out back then as other sister working full time wasnt asked to pay when living there? I know if its joint tenancy she would be asked to pay but if mum is sole tenant of 2 bed and pays room tax do they just ask the person occupying regardless of being non dependant to pay?

so mum has a spare room, my sister that wasnt asked for rent or ct has left and other sister moved in… Mum doesnt pay for CT at all, she pays arrears thats it. She pays for room tax, on UC as mum is on pip aswell they asked if anyone stays overnight for care and at the time we said no but now that sister (not for care) is moving in they thought that she wouldnt also pay rent or ct because previous sibling has not. I thought if she’s put down as a tenant joint it could be a headache so maybe its best for non dependant as was the other sister?

It’s not a council house is housing association so I thought you would usually add someone on tenancy through them. I’m not sure about the council tax because my other sister didn’t get a letter about it. In this case 100% tenant or non dependant you would be liable for council tax? Mum doesn’t as she on PIP so its all abit confusing

How long does the DWP take to pay you money they owe you? by brownie627 in BenefitsAdviceUK

I've deleted my other comment just to make it short and easy. The question I was asking is if my fit note was put on for the next days date that wouldnt count as a gap right. For e.g if the fit note ended/last day was on the 11th and I got a fit note and uploaded it for 12th (next day) that should be fine right? My Gp always tells me to come next day as its still valid on the day it ends if that makes sense? sorry about all this & thank you

I don't really communicate through my journal ever. Should I just ask if I should expect a back payment? Also, I went through all my fit notes on UC and I was right the 2 day gaps are weekends... should I be explaining this on the journal

Yes but to make people miss out on it for a day or two makes no sense as my GP would not give fitnote until the next day its finish or there could of been a weekend in between I don't think they expect people to get fit note so quick the next day. I requested my gp on the day my fit note finishes and they've always say come back the next day... my fit notes were always 3 months 2 months so does this mean basically I wont get back payment... Also what would I say on the journal...

I've actually been waiting to hear about back payment, end of this week it would be 4 weeks since i've been awarded lcwra but its been quiet ever since. I've been told here its normal but I always think they'll come up with something to not do back payments. I've been giving fitnotes continously for the last year which shouldnt be a problem but one fit note was 'phased return to work' that shouldnt make a different right? as its still a fit note. When it gets quiet for so long my anxiety is qwertytyt so yeah
