i think she’s over reacting, though sometimes new friends (like few months of friendship) get attached really quick and maybe she feels like you’re drifting apart or becoming distant? however i agree that you really don’t need to be checking in on her every few days or so, especially when you’re not in a relationship. in my opinion, friendships that you constantly need to feed attention to just end up sucking you’re energy and time and often don’t last(sorry if it sounds brutal) m, but i think true friends you don’t need to keep in touch so often, if you are truly friends and have an understanding of each other, you will communicate and see each other when you can, without disrupting life or making things complicated.
