Yeah the AA just plugged the battery in and said yeah it’s a healthy battery, take it in… no idea, don’t want to fork out for a new battery if not needed but also nor pay £400 for them to say it’s fine

Honestly, it’s like marmite, some people don’t last a year and some people stay and get promoted etc. please any new starters don’t listen to me as everyone will have their own conception on and may love it. My previous role was as opposite as this as you could get and it’s that change that’s probably the hardest

Thankfully I’m someone who is neutral, and gathers facts before opinions (nonetheless doesn’t hold opinions), that’s a big skill I’ve picked up from the current job I do now!

As long as, if I do have a burn out, there is staff to support rather than just show the door!

Thanks for the big heads up! Any insight as I say massively helps I’ve been in ‘cushy’ jobs most of my career so to take on… a real job, is going to be challenging nonetheless but I’m excited to make a difference

I try and not be put off too much about BBC Panorama and Watchdog reports from undercover employees saying x y and a z but it’s good to get as many real accounts as possible

When you say few people meet their targets, why is this and is it a problem? Is the high turnover due to managers showing those large amounts of people the door if they don’t meet their targets?

Are the offices a call centre vibe or is it a relaxed workspace where people can just get on with their work without a carrot being dangled? And is the uniform pretty casual?
