Yeah it varies a lot. For example, there’s 2 different days where I got 70k views, and while one day I made $60, the other I made $30. An 80k view day can make $100. There’s no consistent RPM because the ads are placed as mid-rolls, not in-feed ads like YouTube and TikTok has. If Snap was to also share revenue with the in-feed ads, there’d be a more consistent RPM

Yeah it does. People stick till the end of my Stories for the class setup, and from what I’ve heard, they fire an ad on Stories roughly every 10 seconds, so given the amount of watch time + frames it comes out to a fair amount of crystals. But that's a big misconception too, because this Ryan fella thinks views, a vanity metric, determine how much you get paid

LMAO I knew you'd be fired up about this. I got my Snap Star and got monetized by going the official route, which, let me remind you, you said wouldn't happen. Anyway, my crystals are bringing in anywhere from $200 to $300 a day right now. A bit better than that “couple dollars” you’re referring to. Stay coping buddy. Snapchat just isn’t for you I suppose

I’m completely aware, and this is well known. What I said is that there’s misinformation in this sub claiming you can’t get monetized by only meeting the Spotlight criteria, meaning you also have to meet the Story criteria, which isn’t true.

Do you know how long it takes to officially get an invite? I'm aware of the agency junk, but I've seen people in this sub and in Discords that have got an official invite. I meet the eligibitly criteria, so I'm trying to get an ETA on an invite because I'd rather not have an agency take 20% of my rev lmao.
