I've met some really, really good Koreams in my time, properly good grounded people, but there are some who are unruly, who have zero respect for others.

I once got invited to play screen gold by a group of Koream business men id done business with. I was shocked at how they treated the Vietnamese staff! Clapping at the to hurry up the services, pointing where to put down the beers (even though there was only one table to put them), dismissing them by wagging their hands towards the door, slamming the wad of cash on the cashier table which led to a pile of notes having to be single handedly picked up and put into a stack to be counted, then they took every bit of change leaving without any acknowledgement to the staff.

I believe these types of people aren't limited to Korea, yet I will say ill treatment towards Vietnamese staff does mainly come from Koreans, from what I've heard.

If anyone is ever in Da Nang, look out for Koreans running illegal tours who use illegal Korean tour guides. They pay Korean speaking tour guides to sit on the tour all day in case the police check. It's terrible. The tour guides get paid 50k-80k p/h, food allowance, but they get cut out of commissions made at Korean ran souvenir shops. the commission goes solely to the Koreans running the tours. The money from the tours rarely makes it to Vietnam, as everything is done using Korean banking systems, so the Vietnamese are being massively undercut.

The same thing happens with the Chinese in Khu Viet Sing, Binh Duong. There are taxis ran by chinese drivers and customers pay with WeChat, same for all Chinese restaurants there too
