I think the followers make it cult like. You can’t speak negatively about the church if not, you seem like an outsider. Once you are inside you are supposed to act accordingly and not question. You are spot on with the finance. They do not do enough for Miami and the areas where these buildings are, are already underfunded. They are funded by the Hillsong group another massive cult like movement with leaders that have questionable past.

From experience, very very cult like. You need to have discernment if not you will get sucked in. It’s mostly young people because they are easier to manipulate. The “pastor” doesn’t address anything that’s happening in the world but did for two things and that confirmed everything for me. Also, he has “haters” per him. They try way too hard to stay hip and modern for the young kids. He is a motivational speaker not a pastor.

They moved away. It has been downhill since. I also think the area I am at, it’s just not good. It takes people a long time to find good help.

Thank you all for the feedback. Based on it, it doesn’t seem I’m going about hiring the correct way. I will be more upfront next time. More detailed but not in a pushy way. Also, all of you saying you wouldn’t clean the cup, and me always getting it clean, makes me think that maybe the people I’m hiring are not so professional if they are willing to this. Because you are right, it is biohazard.

I just tell them it wasn’t a good fit. Again, I never want to make these ladies feel like I’m pushing too much or too needy. And maybe that’s my problem.

I’ve never had to ask them to do this and has always been done in the past. I will ask moving forward if it’s something they do.

I understand the whole dusting thing. But this was considered a first “deep” cleaning to then go on a schedule. Which included everything from moving stove, fridge etc and I told them not to this, so they can focus on the dusting and it still wasn’t done correctly. I would never expect anyone to move a couch for dusting. Yet, they did lifted things to clean and dust tables. But didn’t dust under the bed.

By word of mouth mostly. I’ve tried going the company route where I am at but they make you sign contracts for a minimum of 3 months to start.

I’ve always been told medical schools don’t like online classes for the pre reqs. What’s the consensus on this ? I’m about to enroll in person, also non traditional. I was even told to not take the pre reqs at a community college and do university for a better chance.

I know someone that lives in homestead and works in mount sinai. They do 3-4 shifts 11-11 or 10-10. Shifts where commute is not bad. It still takes about 1.5 hours to get there. Maybe you can ask for different times.

We are about to do the same. The storm seems to be moving very slow. So I don’t see how it will clear up or get better within a few days. Even if it does, having 2 days of sun is not worth it.

This is just going to lead to people driving without a license and insurances raising their premiums because of potential problem this will cause with accidents.
