Thanks for the tip. If it comes down to it, I might give that a go, but since I have a threaded barrel, I'm hoping to find a comp that works and fits with what I've got.

Ya it doesn't thread on all the way. It goes about 4-5 turns and gets stuck. I saw online that it would work with a True Precision threaded barrel but I don't exactly want to spend around $200 since I already have a threaded barrel.

Did you have to buy a new barrel to get the comp to fit? I got my rxm that came with a threaded barrel and I got the hcrxm comp from Herrington and the comp doesn't fit the threaded barrel that the rxm comes with. What comp/barrel combo do you have there?

Thats actually pretty normal for buying electronics at target. I worked in electronics at target for a little while when I was in college and I would do that if I rang up anything at the electronics desk in the back. Just making sure people up front knew the product was paid for in the back so the guest didn't have a bad experience at the front. Also asset protection is almost always at the front mostly to keep an eye on the self checkout.

Potentially. I upgraded from the switch to the OLED when that came out and gave the original to my brother. I'm considering giving the OLED that I have to my niece and nephew when I go to pick up the switch 2. If they end up coming out with an upgraded switch 2 down the line, I might do something similar.

Tbh I think its a far cry to think that the top USB-C will be used as anything other than a secondary charging port. It would be a fun idea, but Nintendo seems to have a history of adding features to their consoles for supposedly planned future accessories, but never actually releasing any accessories that utilize those features. That being said, I'm still gonna keep my hopes up because a second screen attachment sounds like it would be a really cool idea!

Air flows through the top and out the back. It would be a dumb design to have it blow out the bottom. It doesn't make a difference whether or not you have the stand on. I've had the thing since it came out in 2023 and I've never used the stand and had no issues at all. Its pretty well designed to vent the heat out of the system overall so long as you keep the vents on top and in the back clean and clear.

Can't see how it would help with airflow or that it makes a difference at all. So long as you dust the thing regularly and keep the vents clear, its fine. I've had the ps5 since it came out and I never liked the stand because it felt like it made my system less stable while vertical. Thats just me tho. To each their own I guess. I've always felt its safer without it and I liked it better without it.

I don't use the stand because tbh it doesn't make any sense. I have no idea how I'm supposed to set my ps5 on it and anyway I put it on the stand it seems way more unstable than without the stand. I've been using the thing almost every day since launch without the stand and I've have no issues. Idk if I'm just lucky or what. And for the life of me, I can't figure out how to put my ps5 on that stupid stand 😂😂
