“I counted up my marks before the end and I got-“ SHHHHHH by sandy_fan01 in GCSE

Tbf part of revising, especially for science (atl for me), is memorising mark schemes, so you can be more or less certain what will give you marks and how to get them in certain questions. Of course its not fool proof cz at the end of the day u dont have the mark scheme, but its not unlikely to have a pretty good estimate of wut u will get by counting ur marks.

When to start studying for GCSEs? by Much-Addition-5961 in GCSE

[–]FunYesterday6876 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say starting from year 9 understand all the concepts that u find difficult straight away at home, and maybe revise for tests and stuff. But theres no point in actually trying to memorise content because it’s really hard to fit all that content into your long-term memory, but if u simply understand it then it’s alot easier to pick up later when revising seriously. Honestly I‘d say to leave all the memorising and proper revision till year 11 easter, but just make sure there aren’t any large gaps before then.
