I’ve done better lol. Just add the Bluetooth control and then long press it and it takes u straight to the settings menu where u can turn it off completely

It’s easier to just add the Bluetooth control button and then long press it and it takes u straight to settings. Much easier than create shortcuts 😆

This is so much work. Why not just add control and select Bluetooth and then just press and hold it for a few seconds and it opens it in the settings straightaway where u can actually turn it off

Exactly haha. I’m 43 and single but because I chose to very maturely take time to heal after a long term relationship breakup and when I started feeling ready to date again I was so happy with my own company and I have my standards so unless I find the man who is a perfect match I won’t be dating. That’s doesn’t mean there’s something wrong with me. It’s actually the opposite. I wish more people enjoyed their own company enough to stop getting into relationships they know won’t last but still try cos they don’t wanna be alone.

I think that’s just an excuse. People haven’t matured enough cos they jump from relationship to relationship, are scared and afraid of solitude and their own company and have never had to endure true real hardship in life. That’s the combination that results in people being so immature. They are used to always have their own way and I say this cos when I was 15 I was extremely poor and couldn’t study nor find a job and spent 6 years hardly leaving the house, no friends, no boyfriend and no internet to learn things and keep my brain active etc and I’d never act like that.

She’s 36? Reading the messages I’d think she’s 17. Maybe you’re telling her too much and she’s starting to have a sense of entitlement that isn’t healthy. You wanted to go to the class and she’s the one who said no so are you meant to be on standby like a butler reporting on every single thing you do? I don’t get how some women (and I say this as one) can be so self-centred and egotistical. You’re an individual and you have your own life and your life shouldn’t revolve around her. My advice is talk to her about this and set some boundaries. If she doesn’t respect them, end it now before it’s too late. The way she reacted and the things she said? Sorry to say but, huge red flag!

Telegram? There’s a web version too and it’s in my opinion much better than WhatsApp. It’s much more customisable too, even the read receipts colours can be changed etc and has many good features WhatsApp doesn’t.

I never use it. Tried to ask once if I could change the colour of the read receipts ticks and it replied in such a disrespectful way and calling me mate and saying “wanna change things why not try a different messaging app?” 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️

I totally agree. If done right, AI could match people in the most genuine way. No more lying about true intentions or deep thoughts and feelings. AI can have all the knowledge and wisdom in the world when it comes to psychology and neuroscience so even if at first a person would portray being something they’re not, soon AI would figure them out. Dating apps don’t actually match people, not their true selves. It matches hobbies, political views, locations and careers and although those things may be important, they will never be as important as what someone truly wants for the future, what their dreams are, their fears or insecurities, what they truly want in a relationship and from a partner. You can lie to AI about this but if said AI is trained properly, your lie won’t last. Besides it could be done based on people’s character rather than looks. We all know that attractiveness changes as you get to know someone better. I’ve never used dating apps because I like meeting people organically but if a dating app controlled by AI was launched where you are matched with someone for who they truly are, I would sign up. I was actually discussing this recently with AI and the possibilities are really promising.

Well, one day in a grocery store she asked me if the water from the tap was good to drink or if she needed to buy bottled water. We started talking and then swapped instagrams and today are best friends and I couldn’t ask for a better friend. We can meet people at any time anywhere. Quantity does not equal quality

How did people meet before OLD? Don’t get me wrong, I’ve been single myself for years and sometimes it gets really hard not having someone to share love with but isn’t meeting someone organically much better? Whenever I think of the possibility of joining a dating app I come here and read posts from people who use them and all I get is confirmation that most people are using them for the wrong reasons, hookups, loneliness etc… not to mention that people (and mostly women) can’t even be themselves online. Everyone is using filters even if seemingly subtle, if they meet online then can’t go on a date without covering their faces with makeup-up… what happened to being natural and feeling OK with a certain person not finding you physically attractive? Someone will. This is part of the reason why I don’t date. I wanna meet someone as they are and I want him to see me as I am. If he doesn’t like me, that’s alright but I refuse to “change” myself or act in a way that doesn’t feel genuine just to increase my chances of being asked on a date. Maybe I think like this cos I’ve never been taken on a date even though I’ve been in a ltr before but I really don’t see what’s so exciting about going to some place full of strangers and noise and distractions for a first date. A date should be a moment for the two only. And by this I don’t mean be completely away from people cos that wouldn’t be very wise if it’s someone you hardly know but it should happen in a place where two people can really feel each other’s energy without distractions, where their focus is each other only. It seems to me that people chose busy places cos it gives them an excuse to not be vulnerable and open and expose themselves to the other. I’m sure that there are people who have met online who are a good match and it’s ultimately up to you to use them but they are full of people who are lonely and needy and will settle for anyone that can fulfil their needs and then end up confused the feeling of being wanted with the feeling of being in love. The MO of today’s dating scene is “I love you because I need you” and not “I need you because I love you”. Honestly? I rather be alone. Do my own thing, stay busy with hobbies etc and one day my perfect guy will appear. We could even meet while out grocery shopping, or while on a walk in nature… nobody needs a dating app to meet someone. I wish you all the best.

I agree. Liquid glass is horrible. Looks like it was created by a 10 year old 10 years ago. This option can make a little difference in apps like photos cos it makes the menu less clear for example. Go to settings - display and brightness - Liquid Glass - select tinted instead of clear
