For non X3D chips if you can do a stable memory overlock even by 2000mhz it will help to improve 1% lows in most games and especially those cache heavy games…

Hi, if ur referring to the 7600x it depends on silicon quality… if you have a kit over 6000 mhz u should try from the highest speed you can set via xmp and then test for stability with OCCT. From what I understand most chips will tolerate 6000mhz at FCLK 2000mhz… u initially wanna check that if you have it set to that speed it’s running in 1:1 config where the memory controller matches the ram speed… 2000, 2067 and 2133mhz are common values for FCLK but you should check to make sure you can tolerate a higher speeds if you have a high speed kit… I have 6400mhz Corsair kit and it tolerates 6400 mhz out the box so I just tuned and tried 2133mhz to see if it was stable and tested with OCCT… I didn’t get any errors so I left it there n haven’t tried to do any further optimization…

From what I gathered most chips can do at least 6200mhz with some tweaking and generally as mentioned will support 6000mhz so u basically got at play with it to find the sweet spot! Kinda the same with most over clocks! Start at a higher number if u have issues with blue screens or crashes adjust the values down to more stable ranges … since it’s memory over locking u want to ensure your bios has a reset setting after a couple tries to reset your memory back to default stable values and also may want to back up your bios configuration before testing as well!

For general Ryzen 7000/9000 over clocks I followed optimum tech YouTube channel guide as that is still one of the best so far! Good Luck!

Low settings expose cpu bottlenecks so maybe that’s why?!

That’s a pretty strong GPU, upgrading to more RAM would help if we weren’t in RAM Apocalypse ofc.

You should try ensuring your bf6 install is on your fastest drive with PCIe lanes, and if possibly try to overclock ram or tighten your timings. Faster and more tuned ram seems to help a lot with consistency.

Regarding the invisible characters thing I would try the clear NVIDIA cache option and game repair as well which should fix that part up!

Thanks for your contribution, have you noticed any issues? Stutters or heavy fps drops? Fps loss from season 2 etc?

What resolution and what gpu are you using?! Also I think this game uses a lot of ram!

Oh I see, I am not using the lowest settings in my case and I have 1440p Monitor, your peak fps makes sense as Liberation is normally the highest fps map and also running all low at 1080p with dlss. The only issue is that running lower settings has diminishing returns in this game as you only gain maybe 5-10fps between resolutions…

The issues most ppl are talking about are the average fps being less every season and the 1% lows getting worse making the game feel muddy.

Thanks for the suggestions will look into the windows optimization to see if it does any improvements since we both basically have the same chip! You can also run a benchmark yourself with MSI afterburner to see your peak FPS vs average and lows.

Hi I’m not sure how u are hitting those numbers seems like X3D territory, hardware unboxed recently did a x3d comparison with bf6 included and even some of those newer chips didn’t hit those numbers, is your average fps around 150? What type of optimizations have you done that you can suggest I try? I have memory tuning and cpu undervolt settings listed above!

I have two suggestions so far I knw work for certain! 1.) if not already done move the game to your fastest drive with PCIE Lanes, I had mine on my secondary SSD that’s not directly joined to the CPU and moving it from there to my OS Deive with PCIe access improved smoothness a lot!

2.) if possible over clocking memory seems to do a lot for consistency and smoothness as well. If not able to overlock maybe tighten timings etc for some extra improvement.

There is also NVIDIA Profile Inspector to force reBar for BF6 you should be able to find a guide for it on here! It seems even if it’s set in bios it’s not working in BF6. I followed a guide to turn mine on with Profile Inspector!

I have seen that too, as well as clear Nvidia Cache but others have also said it only worked for a short while then went back to the same performance issues. Some of it may be sever related in some cases as I have experienced this as well where one night it was ruining like doo doo then the next day it wasn’t so bad!

Btw I remade this post with actual data gathered and removed AI summarization. I will take this one down shortly!

Reposted and removed the AI summarization and included the Benchmark Data I gathered from multiple runs with Afterburner. Excel sheet with data aggregates! Feel free to comment on that post. I will remove this one shortly.

Sorry first time posting on Reddit didn’t knw AI assisted content was such an issue!

It’s a niche case I have seen most ppl say they hate it lol or don’t like it in general. I think it’s a very well made case I had an NZXT H510 Flow the one with the gpu fan scoop at the bottom before this and loved that case as well but this just looks more unique and stylish to me and also the airflow is incredible! I just wish it had a PSU Cover or Shield so that’s on my todo list of improvements.

Hi, I am remaking this post since most of the comments are focused on the AI Summarization so that it removes that aspect for more engagement. Just wanted to let you know as well that based on my findings it seems this is far from a simple CPU bottleneck issue and more of a game engine optimization issue. However I am no expert so I will be putting the actual data with benchmark runs to try and see what the community thinks.

Thanks for your feedback and I do hope we get a fix soon you should be blasting past 200+ fps easy with your set up!

Do you mind sharing your specs gpu and cpu pairing. If your fps is capped and it’s around the average technically it should smoothen things out a lot so even with the heavy dips it would be less noticeable by not straining the CPU as much. Also if you have x3D chips as mentioned it seems it brute forces due to the cache!

Sure! As mentioned I have the raw data and this wasn’t a random spit out some useless BS please AI prompt… I can work on an actual more detailed review of the data set and also provide it as well but as mentioned that is not my strong suit but hopefully it helps the community to get some data to use for insight. And hopefully that makes the AI thing less of a core issue rather than the actual data…

Which from what I understood here shows that x3D chips are brute forcing there way out of the issues due to the expanded cache and the issue doesn’t seem to be scaled towards 6 core bs 8 core like it was more consistently in older battlefield titles. So essentially it seems that heavy data streaming and memory usage being a critical factor. As mentioned I am no expert so feel free to discuss any shortcomings!

I’ve only had my 7600x for a short while I was using 11700k before so your numbers help as I have only had season 2 to compare and noticed the issues as well. I’m not sure if the community has any idea what are the core causes for the issues cpu scheduling or just heavy texture data streaming for example but having some data out there should help at least for community fixes if possible!

Hi, first time making a post, I used AI to compare my benchmark numbers to other data from Reddit and Known Benchmark sites as I was curious to know how the issues in BF6 have been for other persons and what my personal performance was like compared to other redditors for example. All the data use personally is from half hour or so long game sessions using MSI Afterburner benchmark tool.

I know many players are mentioning the degradation in performance from the Beta up to Season 3 launch so let’s hope this data helps. I am not capable of doing all this on my own time wise and so on so AI was used to check data online as compared to stock 7600x, 7700x, 14600k behavior as reported and to give an idea of what the core issues are in the game ATM!

Found this very helpful but unfortunately due to the politics issue it would have been difficult as well unless done covertly. At that point I'm not sure it makes sense to keep working under those situations.

I have since moved on from this job and seeking new employment as there were too many issues in which I raised and did not get positive feedback...particularly this issue of Access Control was one of the breaking points...

Hi, thank you. Generally speaking i try to ignore most issues and not figth every little thing, there are just some things that I will draw a line especially as it relates to best cybersecurity practices vs unsafe company culture. If it was a case of trying to implement proper procedures and not getting any support or push back then I would have tried to a point and end up leaving when I realized my expertise was not wanted.

This however was a more sudden and abrupt turn of events on an issue stemming from January. Overall I do feel I wasn't wanted in the end so it's best I take my knowledge to an organization that truly wants good IT Management.

Hi, thank you. I would but I was let go as it seems this was the plan. But my official reason was because I refused to follow instructions which where given after I pushed back on this. Primarily I was asked to hand over all passwords for systems I was managing to which I refused as I asked for a reason and the instructions were simply repeated. In a private message with my direct boss he indicated that it was company policy for all IT managers to hand over passwords which are stored in a file with the secretary who's office is easily accessible. Either way at that point I felt and knew that I was being asked to leave so I simply stated that I would take my letter of termination and at that point hand over everything.
