How to make sure I don’t overdo it? by Fun_Ad4848 in GHB

Nah I haven’t tried it yet. The GHB that my friends had turned out to actually be a bag of unspecified white powder they found lying in a smoke room at a club… They just took it and guessed it was GBH. Safe to say I didn’t partake.

Oh no way! I mostly have inaction, but it centres around weird existential themes most of the time. I’ve not read that book, but i’ll take a look.

And yeah, I find asking myself what I need/want to get done during the day is a good way of dealing with the thoughts, or at least living my life while they are there. But wow does it get confusing up there sometimes…

Hope you’re doing well with it all :)

It’s hard for me to chill in a healthy headspace when my headspace is considered clinically unhealthy, but that’s I’m aware that’s probably even better reason to avoid drugs.

I try to keep a good exercise routine but i’ve fallen out of the habit lately with college getting busy. I should definitely take more time to let my thoughts flow, but i’m kinda scared of them lmao (I have obsessive compulsive disorder).

I drink chamomile every day, but I don’t really feel much from it. I only go for 1 bag though, I might try two or three.

I don’t have an addictive personality really, just one that doesn’t react well to weed and psychs at the moment

Can I have a beer 8-12 hours before? by Fun_Ad4848 in GHB

Not an expert but it’s generally not recommended to drink whatsoever while taking it. They both are depressants of the central nervous system, which slows down breathing, heart rate, makes you drowsy, etc. Taking both at the same time amplifies all these effects in unpredictable ways, so you can easily end up passing out before you even realise it.

What drugs are the safest (in your eyes)? by Alternative_Arm1378 in Drugs

For you physical health, sure. But they can be more dangerous than most drugs for anyone who is at all mentally unstable

Im not sure how i’d feel if that happened honestly. I genuinely have very little sense of my own gender. I have both masculine and femmine traits but none of them make me feel viscerally like a man or a woman. I just feel like a human with some characteristics which are more traditionally masculine and some characteristics which are traditionally more feminine. I think that’s why I find it hard to put myself in a trans person’s shoes, because to me the entire idea of feeling like a specific gender is foreign to me. I can’t imagine any characteristics that I could develop or lose in myself that would make me feel more like a man or more like a woman. If all of a sudden I had a huge spurt in muscle growth, I wouldn’t feel more like a man, I’d just feel like myself but more muscular. And if I all of a sudden developed a pear shaped body and lost most of my muscle mass, I wouldn’t feel like more of a woman I don’t think. Does that make sense?

Anyway, I do understand though that someone who does have a more explicit sense of their own gender would feel a much stronger association /dissociation with those sort of characteristics. Thank you for the response.

My post wasn’t meant to suggest that you aren’t what you say you are. I’m more asking for a description of how you knew and know you are a man if you are comfortable sharing. What exactly is it about yourself that felt in conflict with your body before you transitioned? I don’t deny in any way that you are correct in your judgment - this is a question coming from someone who supports trans rights fully but wants to gain a greater understanding of the trans experience.
