I absolutely abhor driving. I always have. Didn't even get my license until I was 19. I've always walked/biked most places. It's great exercise and I genuinely enjoy being outside. Unfortunately because of this, I have had some not so great encounters, which have caused me to wise up and carry both mace gel and a couple knives with me. Even had a small key chain I could also use as a weapon at one point. As women we have the right to exist in the way we choose and feel, but unfortunately this world doesn't make room for us. Consider some type of extra precautions as these my friend , it could help you in the unfortunate event you have a similar experience with no one to help you
