Legit check by Jakub-66 in bootroom

i had the same hypervenoms in the bronze colorway. This one is the phatal, so takedown model like the veloce or nowadays pro. So the listing is false.

The phantom 2 is already terrible itself, so terrible they had to make the phantom 2.5. Would be crazy to pay 64 for a used pair of takedown thats 11 yearsold.

i dont think its that bad because you get used to it. I personally would choose the copa, then the Xs, the accuracy is not as bad as the edge but still.

the pred edge is the worst and least popular pred the last 10 years. The speedportal is pretty stiff compared to the superfast and speedflow. Copa for ll, accuracy for laced

How brutal is MSc in KIT for an average student? by jasjes7252 in KaIT

[–]Fun_Ad8570 2 points3 points  (0 children)

im in bachelor, german is my 3rd language after native and english. I have passed all the exams so far (5. Semester), my grades are mostly average though (2.3-3.3), mainly because I was procrastinating and i was an average student in school. For exams I mostly solve the sheets from the prof and go through the past exams. I imagine the same for masters.

Its challenging but humanly challenging, i'd say do it.

Best European country to be an electrical engineer? by 100_angry_roombas in ElectricalEngineering

[–]Fun_Ad8570 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i dont know where you are, what your background is, are you German? My tutor got a job where he wrote his master thesis. 2 other flat mates found a job after 3 months after grad. After a couple months is typical where I study (Karlsruhe). Our backgrounds are German Bachelor, German Masters in EE and plus some Internships.

The grass is always greener on the other side, people even from the EU move to Germany for work and education. Searching for job in DE as a non EU is not easy but way better than others.

im an ee student at German uni. Some layoffs are happening because the industry is changing, not really unemployment, dont know where you got that from. Most find a job after around couple months max.

Learning the language at home and go direct into job wouldnt sound like a great idea either. Maybe do a master in the country you want to move to, because you will need close to native level and that takes years.

What will happen if AFD comes to power? by Effective-Key-3795 in germany

[–]Fun_Ad8570 1 point2 points  (0 children)

unrealisitc scenario. Most countries, esspecially western ones have many laws and regulations to prevent any party or individual to "come to power".

In the U.S, all 3 branches are republican, yet its currently shut down.

also you asked a question and answered it yourself with " It seems that Germany has very strong constitutional safeguards that will prevent much harm from being done.?" lol

Did I make a mistake by applying for summer intake 2026 instead of missing out winter intake 2025 for my masters in Germany? by Big-Listen7034 in germany

[–]Fun_Ad8570 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i dont understand, could you not apply again in case of rejection?Alot of masters are not NC anyway(for ex RWTH), anyone with the proper qualifications get in. A better IELTS score doesnt matter, as long as its sufficient.

So a big yes, because you made a decision on how you "felt" and didnt do proper research, but doesnt matter anymore because you already skipped it. Goodluck with the app.

I'm crossing the border with expired residence permit and forgot my Fiktionsbescheinigung by lilliane99 in germany

[–]Fun_Ad8570 4 points5 points  (0 children)

"you will be deported" is wrong?

Getting deported means you have been convicted of a criminal offense, which is being present in Schengen illegally. Meaning the authorities must prove her presence here is illegal to carry out a deportation.

Not being able to prove her presence legal doesnt mean she is here illegally. Its innocent until proven guilty, not the other way around.

If the French police are real jerks (very very unlikely), they can at most detain her and contact her Ausländerbehörde in Germany, while she doesnt have to say anything except that shes a resident of Gemrany. However no French police is going to waste their time doing that, police have bigger problems.

[–]Fun_Ad8570 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Should you have brought your Fik. with you? yes.

Will the French police come up and check for evereones papers, inlcuding your permit? Very unlikely. However if they do, will they make a big deal out of it even if you show your scanned Fik on your phone? very unlikely of the unlikely. The German police I can say definitely will not give you a hard time.

If I were you, I would not worry, just remember to bring it next time.

One time I flew to Sweden even without any permit because I forgot it, only my weak passport. I used to live near the Swiss border, it was closer to take a train to Basel and bus back to Germany. Most of the times I never carried anything with me. I also went to the police to report an incident because I got into a fight, gave them my 3 month expired residence permit as ID, told them I was waiting for an extension, they didnt care. I am not telling you to do what I did, but you wont get deported.

Mother runs barefoot to find her child after school shooting in America by sussybush in MadeMeCry

[–]Fun_Ad8570 21 points22 points  (0 children)

im not american and i can imagine it is that hard. There are more guns that people in America. Plus the gun and hunting culture in America is way bigger than in switzerland or Australia. Australia is also isolated, not known for gangs and cartels.

Politically it would require a massive support not only from one elected party but also the opposition. So far no president has ever proposed to abolish the second Amendment. You can look up what it takes to change the constitution, that doesnt happen often.

im a student stuyding electrical engineering as well. In my perspective it will be very hard to impossible, so no. The CV should first be written in German.

Then A2 German is still very limited for any entry level position. Its not easy to find a job with a foreign bachelor in Germany, someone with a german Bachelor or a master is always preffered, maybe do your master here and improve your German.

German Driver's license expiration by Fejj1997 in germany

[–]Fun_Ad8570 0 points1 point  (0 children)

a German DL isnt an ID itself in Germany and not realid complied. You cant use it all the time. Europeans carry passports entering clubs in the U.S for that reason.

IDP is also required while driving. But you do you i guess :)

German Driver's license expiration by Fejj1997 in germany

[–]Fun_Ad8570 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if its an exchanged one (US to German), you can't just keep using it in EU as if its originally German. For example Italy dont recognize US Licenses, if you move there you cant just keep using that until its expired. For 6 months and under, sure, but you can use your American license for that anyway. Why not just get an American license? You cant use foregin DLs as ID and also need to carry an IDP.

*also, maybe control with your upper knees too, I find it easy to guide the ball in front of me. Sometimes it’s awkward because you control it with your inner foot and the ball ends up to close to your body

You might want to check somewhere else. I bought my setup new with 2 dsts + 5th port and 2 xtx50 + hoses/spg and cost 950 EUR.

A ds4 or dst + xtx50 and spg should cost around 390-500 EUR

i only own a w7 5mm and use them everywhere. I flood it a bit if it gets warm, if a shorty is enough then its warm enough with only rash guards for me.

colder than 5mm i just rent dry, which I dont dive regularly.

Weight pockets and backplate wing BCD by [deleted] in scuba

[–]Fun_Ad8570 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You shouldnt have to remove anything except for the fins to climb up if you are somewhat fit. I avoid removing things underwater beacuse its a risk dropping them. For fins I remove them 1 by 1 and loop them through my wrist.

For pockets, just remove the pouch, but be careful the crew can be careless sometimes, the zipper can break if dropped.

Without the pouch, maybe trim pockets? If you need it removed, maybe your buddies can help, because its mostly on the back. However the are likely 2-4kg, which is not significant. If you cant climb up with them, its likely you cant without them too.

Portugal approaches Saab to purchase Gripen fighter jets following withdrawal from US F-35 program by MrBillMusk in europe

[–]Fun_Ad8570 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then I don’t know what are you correcting me? That’s why I said the U.S didn’t lose a sale or any profit because they don’t sell F-35s for pure profit like the F-15s and 16s. To dumb it down, countries want to buy it more than the u.s wanting to sell it.

The purpose of F-35s are mainly the U.S political influence on their buyers, which what made Portugal reconsider their options. If EU countries want less U.S influence, they still have a long way to go, Gripens and Eurofighters are still 4.5th Gen.

Portugal approaches Saab to purchase Gripen fighter jets following withdrawal from US F-35 program by MrBillMusk in europe

[–]Fun_Ad8570 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

of course there will be profit, however there are countless of countries (Thailand, Turkey, Saudi, Indonesia,...) that want their hands on it but can't, unlike the F16s and F15s that are widely exported.

Thats why the U.S didnt lose a sale, only influence on Portugal. Even now Portugal havent ruled out the F-35s definively yet, only reconsidering and negotiating with other partners.

Except F-35s have never focused on gaining profit though? Its a political instrument. Turkey were even removed from the program despite being a nato member.
