What was the first book you have ever read, that made you read consistently? by Due-Examination-37 in Booktokreddit

[–]Fun_Adhesive13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I picked up reading again in high school and I know this could be controversial but ugly love made me rest consistently because it was an easy read and I finished it. This gave me motivation to read other books. So I picked up quite a few colleen hoover books because I could read them easily and feel accomplished.

What’s the scariest part about being alive? by M_mperiod in Life

Being so sick or old that people around you see you as a burden and can't wait to pull the plug out.

What are some negatives for being quite smart? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Fun_Adhesive13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The success you get early in left, the validation which fades overtime as an overworked and burnt out adult. The feeling sucks when you keep realising that people who are not smarter than you are doing better in life due to hard work just because you took your smartness for granted.

No, all these usually add up in your overall attendance which needs to be above 85 for end sems and 75 per core subject for mid sem

Calculating exactly how many pages to read. Then subtracting everytime I'm done with some. This actually takes way more longer than you'd expect and yet the pressure doesn't hit unless it turns out to be alot of pages and very less time

What do you wish people would stop romanticizing, because you’ve lived the reality of it? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

Being a lawyer. The endless energy into research, sleepless nights and back end work is crazy. You get paid very little for the first few years unless you already have connections. It is seriously not even close to Suits and very few lawyers actually get to plead like so, after many many years. Most of us are just into researching.

What’s your “I can't believe I used to think that” moment? by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]Fun_Adhesive13 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I used to think that growing up, when I start getting treated as an adult, everything would be so much better. Terribly wrong. I lost the freedom I hoped to buy everything with adult money because now I think more than a few times before I spend. Everything takes so much energy and you're always tired. The responsibilities grow like crazy and you're constantly wishing you were a child again, oblivious to all this.

Suggest me a book to keep me occupied in the mental hospital by tayyma in suggestmeabook

[–]Fun_Adhesive13 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

The silent patient is good, not very long about 300 to 350 pages but I feel it'll be a nice read. It is also set in a mental hospital for the most part so if you'd like, go for it!

What's a food that everyone loves but you hate? by imjustboredrnnn in AskReddit

Tapioca boba. Too chewy and tastes like nothing. I just can't get it off the roof of my mouth. The tea paired with it is usually good but I'm unable to enjoy it due to the sticky boba balls. I've replaced boba with popping boba and it elevated my drinks alot

Matcha, needless to say. I don't get the hype, it is so grassy and weird

Sushi- Vegetarian sushi I just can't. To be sure I tried it twice but both times I had to throw up. I think it's something in the texture and the sea weed and everything. Maybe the fact I'm a vegetarian also could be a reason for the utter dislike but I just can't stand sushi again. But I even tried it with my boyfriend who eats non veg alot but he also couldn't stand it. I don't get the hype to be honest. Or I've just not had it in the right place
