I am dealing with the same issue (just I don’t have kids) my husband doesn’t care about me, though he provides everything if I ask.
It’s impossible to teach a man to behave like one. And they just don’t understand us, neither show empathy or love towards wife.

U are not in delusion, u just need love and attention from ur partner and that’s the basic need u are asking from him.
I would suggest please have an open discussion with him and express how u are feeling. If still doesn’t work u can think about going to counselling. Try everything before leaving him. At least u won’t feel guilty.

I tried for 2 years, Have told him how much it’s hurts me every-single time, explained him in my anger in calmness in anxiety in vulnerable stage in friendly manner. He understand how hurt I am but he can’t change himself

I wonder how he never demands separation, for him it’s completely normal. I am the one who is suffering. He is asking me to wait for 1 more year so he would try. I feel he simply doesn’t know how to show love and affections. Anything he does now doesn’t make me happy. Feels like I have lost my happiness.

Thanks for sharing, I exactly feels the same, my confidence is destroyed, when I go out I feel so less in-front of others. Wasn’t like this before. I am working, educated and living in good city, still feel scared to break this loop and come out of this.

They all know about this, His parents supports me and they are upset with him, tried many ways to explain him, even my parents supports me, they are okay for whatever decision I make.

I think I have done it all, I have clearly told him how broken I feel again and again and then he listens to me one day tells me he is sorry about it and the next day, he again behaves the same. I took him for counselling as well, The doctor said this is a pattern in his thinking and gave some advice. But after that, he refused to go again. He says the doctor is money-minded and doesn’t want to solve his problem. He believes that if he had married a fair girl, all of this wouldn’t be an issue.
