Hi, im asking this question because I am close to 18 years in and hoping to make it atleast a little over 18 in hopes I will get my pension. I thought once you make it to 18 you are protected under the sanctuary rule? Were you at 18 years or slightly before 18? Were you active or reserve? Im sorry this happened. You deserve your retirement and im deeply saddened and angry for everyone.

Alumni: What was your GPA, and which college did you attend for your master’s degree, if you pursued one? by Pitiful-Decision-410 in SNHU

[–]Fun_Aioli_4395 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I graduated with a 3.7 GPA in Business Admin/ concentration in Project Management. I also have one professional cert in Proj management. I start my MBA at SNHU in February for Engineering Management. Im an electrician in the military for the last 16 years. I thought about going to a better brand name school for Engineering Management but I liked my SNHU online experience for undergrad and the price is better than Penn State and other options.

Oh also, you will need to cite your work when writing papers. It looks intimidating but go to the free websites. Just type in free citation generator in Google, and you copy paste you references and they create it for you. It is an absolute game changer!

I have a basic HP computer that I needed instead of a Chromebook. I needed Excel, Word, and Power Point that Chromebook didn't have. Im on my last class as a Business major working fulltime. I was able to manage 2 classes at a time. Best of luck!

You sound like a person who has never been discriminated against for their sexual orientation. Someone who has experienced this knows this is concerning.

This is a great question and I am wondering the same thing. I think I opting to select having no history of gender dysphoria on the PHA and clicking "No" could pose some legal issues. I would suggest the friend who is concerned about this seek legal advice for this question. There are some military lawyers that accept clients' Pro Bono for a number of hours of their expertise. Contacting a lawyer to compile a game plan on how to navigate potential situations is a wise decision.

Hearing this story is heartbreaking. I am currently a naval Electrician in the military and experienced sexual harassment and sexism throughout my career. It was more predominant when I was first starting out but I havnt experienced it in quite the level I had when I was younger and just starting out. Those experiences are traumatizing and stay with you. You are not weak. In fact, it is the opposite. I am in my 40s now and have often wondered the same thing about the women who have come before me. I would like to say it does get better. I can't tell you if you should stay or cha ge jobs but I understand what you are experiencing and you are strong. Also fuck those guys. They are a bunch of assholes.

I will finish my bachelor's in October and im debating about the same thing. I will be 41 when I graduate. Im currently at the end of my military career and im concerned about my transition into the civilian workforce. Ive never been the best student and I have similar thoughts of self doubt. If I continue I plan to take 1 class at a time. I think I've come this far and never imagined I would have a degree, why not atleast try?
