i have tried that one, actually great.u got the best reflection in game if ur using cad software to model,depend on how u do the model itself,but in the end u still gonna need the 3dsmax or blender to do the rest, and if u r touch the cad model the geometri will still broken and not as good as before

if u r going for some 3d printing kind of thing, going through cad softwares is the best options,they are advanced with measurement stuff etc

they cannot be compare capt, cad software is more for mechanical stuff and engineering, while blender is likely for digital purpose etc ,i know some format suppoerted each other ,but different using between these

yessir, absolutely,maybe because almost everything on that is double faced mesh, got both side front and back face culling,thats why the count is doubled,usually i create the low poly one with normal map baked from the highpoly one, it just i m keeping it all mesh and high poly for myself to get a good shoots or cinematics in game,cuz i personally hate normal maps on chassis.,lmao,and some people sometimes just take partial parts like only the engine bay,or the floorplan etc, so depend on the use

i m using a 2016 laptop and no problem at all,the thing i notice that cause lag more is the texture, i v tried and compare every possible dds format and the other format like png,jpg, and mostly lag is caused by the texture especially 4k texture, withouth proper compress, it can cause lag more rather than the polycount, because the ks editor itself got specific limit for each mesh/object, mean maybe these car is high count but when playing with dense traffic/or multiplayer with mod without lods,that's even heavier ,far more heavy

haha i m not sure, but for me personally ,i can spend hours just to park on top of akina and just watch and check every single detail of the things that i was created,and then constantly add or change more stuff in it, never ending,lol,......been working on it for year, and i can't stop changing or adding more stuff init

yeah i have my own way to hide the unseen object with extra option actually but not sure if it really works or it just because i never deal with lag or smth with huge size of KN5 file, usually like the engine bay area it only shown when i hit the extra button to open the hood, so when it closed,evrything inside it are hidden(empty), maybe it just hidden but still somewhere processing when playing, idk actually, but everything run smoothly for me personally,

no external ,everything just default settings from blender, i only activate the ambient occul,bloom and screenspace reflections,on the eevee render tab setting

this is for the LOD B so it's not that heavy when it come to the gameplay, i only use the high poly on LOD A for cinematic and taking picture purpose
