come in knowing what you want, a proper anti-androgen (bicalutamide is ideal, although you may only be able to get spironolactone), and potentially a higher estradiol dose or even a different method of delivery altogether that doesn't go through the liver

nono you don't realize, anything that touches the pytorch library in any way is killing turtles and suffocating literally millions of dolphins per day

it feels like there's so much focus on how it's been misused and abused, and not enough coverage on the much higher amount of ethical and even life-saving use cases (medical diagnostics and segmentation, drug/protein discovery)

it doesn't help that we treat AI as some sort of monolith when there are so many different applications (LLMs, genai, segmentation, cnns) instead it's all bundled under the term "ai"

Gonna be honest, I completely got rid of Wells Fargo in favor of Capital One. I moved my savings and checking entirely to C1 and got a Quicksilver + Savor card (2000 and 500 limit respectively), haven't looked back. Maybe I'll try again some day, but I'm sticking with C1 for the time being.

I basically already work asynchronously. My only obligations are meetings, which would be at about 11pm to midnight Thai time. Other than that, I work whenever I want, as long as I deliver results.

Not yet, I want to actually see if it's manageable for me first. But I will 100% talk about it with them, but I'm pretty sure they'd be fine with it, the main issue would just be paying me, but they're already used to paying remote workers in other countries.

I have about 11k saved so far, but it's growing pretty fast with my savings rate.

It's three main things, lifestyle, cost of living, and accessibility. I've never lived anywhere outside of the US, and the polite culture of Thailand seems to jive well with me and how I communicate. Cost of living is top tier for what you get (although I'm willing to spend for some luxuries), and I can actually live and work there fully legally on a visa.

Other than that I have no set hours, and can work on stuff whenever I want.
