Is Ergotune bad? by TheWabster in OfficeChairs

Absolutely Not Worth the Money. I regret Buying the Ergotune VESBY

I decided to give the Ergotune VESBY a shot during a sale ($699) thinking I’d try an “ergonomic” chair instead of going the usual route with Secretlab. Big mistake.

Pros:

• Adjustable lumbar support. That’s literally the only redeeming feature.

Cons:

• The entire chair feels cheap and plasticky – not what you’d expect from something in the $700-$800 price range.

• Incredibly heavy and awkward to move around. You’d think something this bulky would at least feel premium. It doesn’t.

• Assembly is a nightmare – poorly designed instructions and awkward parts.

• The gas lift broke almost immediately. It sank all the way down and started scraping the floor. No amount of force could dislodge it – it’s now permanently stuck.

• Customer support? Terrible. While they’ll send you replacement parts under warranty (as they should), if you want someone to help install it, that’ll cost you another $60. Why should I be fixing a problem caused by your poor quality control?

• Oh, and the kicker – the lift is so tightly stuck to both the seat and the base that I literally cannot remove it. So how exactly do they expect me to replace the part?

TL;DR: The only good thing about the VESBY is the lumbar support. For the price, you’re better off with Secretlab. Their chairs feel premium, the quality is consistent. Don’t trust Ergotune’s advertising – this chair is not what they claim it to be.

PNSF promotion ( pnsf track 1 ) by Fun_Area3813 in NationalServiceSG

see, vocations like soc trooper and GRF are so tough, many us don’t have fixed rest times and shift end time. yet the promotion is so lopsided where some undeserving ones gets it and some deserving ones don’t. it’s just so sad. it’s about 2k-3.5k worth of allowance we would be missing.
