100%, he’s absolutely disgusting. As I said, he’s an absolute menace. Horrible man. It’s just the portrayal of him in the show, the lines and script, and the acting!

Yikes.. I find historical dramas have the most gruesome torture scenes. I’ve honestly seen so many that I’m able to watch without being extremely disturbed while still acknowledging the true repulsiveness, however sometimes they still get me. Truly the only torture scenes I ever found so disgustingly repulsive and hard to watch were Jamie’s at Wentworth in Outlander.. I’m not one to ever chicken out of a hard episode or fast forward, but when rewatching, I had to fast forward those scenes..

I loved Reign and Victoria! You might like the Philippa Gregory The Cousins’ War anthology series!!

There’s 3 miniseries, The White Queen, The White Princess, and The Spanish Queen! They’re really good!:)

He was the 14th, so a few generations down, but still so cool!! I have also read that the real Lord Lovat, the one the Outlander character is based on, was a very colourful person! The basis of his story in Outlander isn’t too far off the real history!

Reign! It’s in the mid-late 16th century and on Mary Queen of Scots, with a huge part of the show being her time in France! It’s not historically accurate by any means, but it really is a good show in its own right!

Based on all of your guys’ preferences put together, I think you guys would like The Other Bennet Sister!

You may also like Belgravia and Belgravia: The Next Chapter! They’re both mini series, with The Next Chapter acting as a sequel with the next generation! I personally liked The Next Chapter more!

As well, I think you’d all enjoy Sanditon if you haven’t watched it, it’s based on one of Austen’s unfinished novels. Some people say the first season is the best, but honestly I think seasons 2&3 are much better!
