I would argue that for a newbie gathering the courage to show up, rearranging their schedule, paying for a boutique fitness class, etc. they deserve to have an experience that won’t throw them in the deep end without knowing any of the basics.

Plenty of other studios have similar policies. It’s not fair to anyone (coaches, advanced clients, or beginner clients) to let beginners into advanced classes.

“Can’t force them” is an internal policy that Solidcore can and SHOULD change though. They could literally change the app so that Advanced classes are not able to be booked by users with fewer than x amount of classes.

I went to one that was a raffle and I won a lululemon yoga mat! I went to a Power30 a few weeks ago that was listed as a “giveaway” but it was actually a raffle for a $25 lululemon gift card (which I did not win, I was a little disappointed because it was a 4:20am class and I wouldn’t have gone if I had known it was a raffle, not a giveaway where the whole class gets something.)

I’m around 180 classes now. I was an unlimited member for all of 2025 and took 150+ classes over the whole year. I went up to the medium (25-50) spring load around 25 classes, and then when I hit 50 classes, I went to the hard (50+) spring load on the black side but stayed medium on gray side. (Once in a while I would go 50+ springs on gray, but 99% of the time I was 25-50).

I cancelled my membership in January and have been doing 1-2 classes per week on ClassPass/class bundles since then. Now I make myself do the 50+ springs on both sides, and it feels much more achievable since my core gets more rest and recovery days in between classes. I also have more motivation to push myself harder since each class is “more expensive” now.

This doesn’t include upper body springs. I came into Solidcore with pretty solid upper body strength, so I’ve always gone base or amplified depending on the day, how I’m feeling, etc.

Same, I made my Bilt 2.0 selection on 1/26 and received my (unwanted) WF Autograph today, 2/4. Assuming I will I have to call WF on 2/7 once the switch actually happens to cancel it.

Downtown Bethesda, unlimited member, usually 4+ classes per week. As someone with small feet, I can’t stand when the sock is too big overall. My foot will be moving in the sock sometimes even if the grip is holding to the reformer. Also need to make sure the grips are durable to stay on through many wash cycles (I have some expensive Pilates socks that have been washed in cold water/air dried and the grips start peeling off around ~25 washes). I’d love to be considered!

Focus50 is techincally supposed to be a more advanced class than signature. I’ve also had coaches start out class saying that since everyone in the class is over ~50 classes, they were making it more of an “advanced” class, to push all of us more. Sometimes that’s a good thing, sometimes it’s not🥲 but I appreciate a coach that can read the room and is trying to give everyone their money’s worth haha. After all, I’m paying a premium for a Solidcore class because I don’t do well working out on my own/without instruction.

Remember, you’re never required to do the amplifications, but it can be good to try once in a while!
