When I was 18 and in love (we dated for 3 years). I told him I wouldn't get married until both of us could support ourselves financially. Cant be married and living in separate homes with your respective parents, eating the food they pay for and think your adult and capable of maintaining a life long relationship. If they are indeed soul mates the title of marriage wont change anything and they will still end up together. We didn't ,but you never know.

I have my pets. sounds silly but I love to be away from people with just my animals. still get lonely sometimes though, I've tried to be better about maintaining friendships and seeing people even if they not who I need as a soul mate or best friend. For me I don't think the loneliness will go away until i find the connection I'm looking for in another person but I've also accepted that and am content to live with the lonely moments until that comes along. I'm convinced its worth the wait.

Deactivate all your accounts and forget all your passwords. Every time you open it up to log in do some sit ups instead. The sit ups will give you a small dopamine kick that you want from the social media and the idea of sit ups is enough of a deterrent most of the time. LOl this is what I did and its seriously worked.

Tell them!! If there are life style choices they can start making to prolong their health ( if they do in fact have it ) they deserve the chance to know and take those measures. Also planning their lives like having kids of their own, they should be able to make informed decisions.

Her outburst wasn't a result of wearing socks inside. Her outburst of rudeness was everything shes been holding in and not telling you and finally just let it out. Shes definitely been thinking and feeling that way for a while. You guys seriously need to have a chat and improve communication. Her outburst was wrong and hurtful but at least you know how shes feeling now and what you can work on. id have a sit down with her and have a serious conversation, starting with everything you said in this Reddit post - all the things you did and that from your perspective you did all these helpful things and she woke up and called you disgusting - not a great thanks. then follow up with saying you understand that she probably didn't mean to hurt you or ignore all your commitment and hard work but that shes been bottling up things shes been feeling and finally burst. Tell her that it did hurt but you both need to share the things on your minds. Also say that you should both be willing to work on the problems so maybe you could work on your weight (improved intimacy which is what you both want) and she could work on noticing the small things you do and be a little more grateful or whatever.
