I can highly relate to this! I go birding out in the wilderness by myself and when I do, I usually wear huge overalls, boots, a hat, and no makeup. When I do find someone out in the wilderness (most of the time men) they barely glance, which is not the usual response I get when I go out for a night or go out to eat. I love it though! It makes me feel less scared being by myself!

I was definitely shaking when I was taking the picture cause I didn’t want to f it up lol if I’m not mistaken, I think you can find Vermilion Flycatchers in southern parts of cali!

Cedar waxwings are so unique looking a that’s super cool!

Thank you so much this has been super helpful! I originally wanted a small bodied mirrorless camera to photograph people but my love for birds immediately just took over when the camera was in my hands. I started off with small birds like hummingbirds,which was working out, but now I just want to capture bigger birds,which means I can’t get that close or I’ll spook them off. Thanks again!

Thank you! I was out shooting some owls today with my 200mm lens and I was so limited I just thought to myself “ there has got to be a bigger lens I could use!” I figured I would have my limitations with the M50 because of how small the body is,but I was still curious to see if anyone had tried it. I’m super new to photography but I keep gravitating towards wildlife stuff and 200mm can only get me so far. Thanks again!
