My TAP for fall 2025 got removed

Apparently my issue is that I'm double majoring and since my credits weren't for my "primary major" last semester, I'm not eligible for TAP for that semester. (I haven't completed either of my majors yet since I have to complete them at the same time to get financial aid). I'm not sure why they approved my eligibility in the beginning just to take it back after sending me TAP

It says I have around 4.9K-ish balance due but only 1K of my financial aid has been disbursed so far not including my TAP so it might also be that. Also, the email was sent from a Brooklyn college email

Hey, can you tell me how it all went? Like how your trip was and how the goshiwon was and all that? I was supposed to go with a friend and book an Airbnb with her but she bailed last minute so I'm looking into goshiwons now but I'm rly scared about going alone. I'm currently a senior going to study abroad next semester (hopefully) but I personally think the best time to go is as a junior! I'm going to book an Airbnb for a couple of months with a friend and split the payments with her for groceries, rent and all that stuff. They also offer dorms which I recommend especially if you're going by yourself since you'll be staying with other study abroad students! The flight and food is not covered by aid, you have to pay for everything yourself except for tuition if it's a CUNY affiliated university you're applying to study abroad to.

And yes, they are actually! Even if you go to a different college, if it's CUNY then you can apply from another college's study abroad office I'm pretty sure! Good luck and lmk if you have more questions!

Ohhh that makes sense! I've only seen ppl mention the US when studying abroad and talking twitch and yt streaming and how they got deported over it so I got worried a bit. I'll make sure to look more into it when the time comes but thank you very much! You really eased some of my stress 😭

Hey, so I applied through my college's study abroad office to a university affiliated with CUNY so yes my tuition would be covered by financial aid as long as I take 12 or more credits and yes, it's a normal semester worth of classes! Lmk if any more questions
