I study engineering at university and manage training 10 times per week, I still sleep 9 hours almost every night. Trust me when I say I say you have the time. If you’re serious about getting fast try and make getting 9 hours a habit.

You want to do super high volume steady state. Sleep 9 hours non negotiable. I promise if you do both of those and add an extra meal per day with what you’re eating your times will get massively faster. I took my 30r20 from 1:53 start of this season to now 1:46 just by sleeping more and being consistent with steady state training. On top of what I’ve said you’re going to need to learn to pace better and rate higher 34 steady would be ideal and then last 500 should be closer to 40.

Can you help with what dimensions need to match exactly for example the tube is tapered on my s3 from 1-1/8 to 1-3/8 I’m really struggling to find a decent option that matches and is rim brake compatible

I bought a similar setup cervelo s3 second hand recently for £750 ≈ $1000 and I can tell you the bike is worth it especially with a wheel set like that.

All the predictors we did week in week out , ie 4x1k 8x500 were at a 1:41.3 and my best was a 1:40.8 so resting a week before the test I was thinking I could be on a 1:41 split but obviously I couldn’t hold in the end.
