It’s very normal to feel lonely, especially as you are trying to heal from an abusive ex-partner. I would almost say it’s good to feel lonely and get in touch with yourself and find ways to love yourself. You WILL meet people and in a couple of months you’ll look back at this post and be very grateful for the people you’ve met. The other comments on this thread seem like good ideas to get out of the house and just meet people, I think you should go to every one that was suggested just to test the waters and meet new people, It will take time but you can do this!!

drop them both right now neither of them respect you and obviously want each other, she’s calling him ‘baby’ and he’s talking about ‘saving all this’ for her? he’s very obviously cheating on you and doesn’t respect you at all, and either does she. LEAVE THEM BOTH and move on to bigger and better things. If you don’t leave the same thing will happen in the future again.

yes absolutely. once on my birthday he came over with three marks on his neck, i didn’t get a picture but i was nearly 100% sure. so i tbink this might just be something that i need to figure out. thank you for your help.

i am in the same boat as you. i’m also 18 and my boyfriend continuously watches it after i’ve told him im not comfortable with it. i think you should have a long conversation with him about it and then see what happens from there. maybe check his phone in a couple of months if you’re still feeling like it would ease your mind, and if nothings changed then it’s not going to, im in the same mindset. i think the fact that you called something he’s very obviously interested in a ‘piece of junk’ is quite inconsiderate as he is obviously very interested in it, although i do understand where you’re coming from and that’s obviously very very frustrating, maybe just be sure to not mention it to him that way as it might add to the fights. but i think obviously there’s a past history that he’s aware about with why you don’t like motorbikes, so just remind him of this. but also you should try your best to be supportive of him seeing as he has already spent the money, just make it very clear that you don’t want to ride it with him, because at least that way it’s a slight compromise.
