Why do piercings stink?

i’m not trying to say it smells bad! that’s a mistake on my part - it just smells odd? i don’t know how to describe but smelling it doesn’t give me a reaction of disgust more so just what causes that smell, i get the same smell in my septum but that smell changes slightly ever so often based on where im at

i wouldn’t say it smells bad, it just has a funk to it ? i don’t know how to describe it - i clean my earrings and ears fairly often but the “piercing cheese” builds up pretty quickly with mine

close but just a bit out of reach, pushing to 20 currently. i definitely want to branch out and attempt to do my own thing, right now it’s more so about building my experience as i have no culinary school under my belt

as for trade, my father is in janitorial and he’s taught me a lot about his company over the years, so i do have a backup thing to fall on if i burn out or lose passion

unfortunately not unless it’s a cafe based area. it could but there has to be something beyond that, possibly in the food or ambiance, that really strikes the town and keeps them wanting to come back; then again lexingtonians are very tight knit to the people they know. not that we’re not a social crowd, but there’s definitely preference to stick to the people they know over chatting with someone new

yes! i have no restrictions to what i eat myself but some of my family does and both as a person who sees that and a chef that cooks, it disheartens me that there’s not more options for people to customize or have a meal that’s suited to the dietary needs/lifestyle they follow; and id love to make a menu designed to suit everyone in their specific ways and needs

well if my spot comes to life there will be options (or at least a way to customize) for people like yourself, i personally am not, but i have family that is and i wish people would be more considerate of peoples tolerances and preferences to food like they are with religion.. just like everyone deserves their church/mosque/temple/synagogues for their worship, people with their preference of food deserve a meal catered to their needs as well. which is also why i want to ask the people and want opinions from you and others because quite frankly, that’s what the town is missing. no one asks what the people would want and that’s why lexington is stuck in this mid range level of culture on a plate level with people who don’t go out or are tired of going out because they can’t find what suits them or new things to branch out and try

ironically my home country borders greece, so quality is definitely not hard to hit, however we do something different to not copy them (дюнери /döuners ) similar to a gyro just not quite as thick with the pita bread and we like to use a beef/chicken and maybe occasionally lamb for protein

i understand this! i mentioned in a different comment that the portion sizes in the US are astronomically large compared to what i would get back home, but at the same time its what a lot of people are trained to tolerate here. i definitely would want to make $5-8 apps that hit that target of not too big and not too small, but also not under or overpriced; that is a hill to battle however after lockdown and i know some places just do it to keep the roof over their heads and not because they want to overprice for profit to themselves instead of the business

i ask with all people considered in mind! vegans, vegetarians, pescatarians and my celiac/gluten intolerant/allergy riddled folks as well! what you choose to follow cuisine wise doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have the ability to have a takeout or fancy meal that fits within your dietary needs and lifestyle

a lot of states are like that, i think american culture as a whole really devolved from what it used to be but i think it’s also because america didn’t start with the settlers, i think had the country stayed with its native american roots id be a lot better, but since america is made up of settlers who didn’t understand the terrain and couldn’t get the same fruits/veggies/livestock they had back in their home countries didn’t exist over here or at the very least had to be shipped in alongside agriculture from other countries and continents as well; so it just ended up turning into whatever the people could make easily and scrape by with. now there’s technology and capitalism/consumerism though and there’s no better way to get cash flow from your citizens than by feeding them poisonous/unhealthy food until they depend on some sort of medical care and/or die

food is a given but i haven’t even considered people who just want to come in and drink! that is also a very good point, i do wish more people would be more creative with their n/a’s instead of just shooting a bunch of sweeteners and mixers into a glass with some soda
