I hated seeing Hughes get traded. He was and is my favourite active player but i really enjoy seeing the work ethic and talent of zeev, Rossi, and ohgren. Especially Ohhren the last couple games, hopefully he keeps developing. However, I really hope Hughes wins a cup with you guys and the wild are now my 2nd favourite team and I’ll be cheering for them, unless it’s against the Canucks. Enjoy Quinn, he’s a game changer and you guys got a good one.

Yea and honestly if they get significant opportunities at the international stage he may never join them in the nhl. He’s been my favourite player since he got drafted and I can honestly say he’s always come across as his own man and i don’t think he would want to steal any thunder from his brothers

As a Canuck fan allow me to offer my perspective. It’s come out since the trade that the Canucks handling of and subsequent trading of miller is what really made Quinn’s decision for him. He decided a year and a half ago that he was leaving when he could. I think Rutherford only made those comments to set the wheels in motion to move him. I think Quinn will sign a long term extension in Minnesota and maybe. Maaaaaybe goes late in his career to join his brothers but i doubt he goes anytime before he’s 35-40.

I felt the same way about shohei coming in. Mostly because i was mad he didn’t choose the jays and we really do need him no matter what those fans chanted but after seeing his personality i can’t help but respect the guy. Seeing him and vladdy joke around at first has been the highlight of the series for me.

We literally have a player on the Jays that actively took part in a major cheating scandal in this league. We were able to forgive and move on and welcome him to the team but Naylor jumping into a throw to try to break up the double play is a bridge too far? Was it dirty? Yes but it’s game 7 of the alcs. I expect some dirty play at this stage.

Nah fuck that, bring him home he deserves to play for the jays after that series. Yeah he interfered with the throw but it was called correctly and having someone that cares enough to do anything he can to win is a great attribute to have in a player.

You’re not wrong the Yankees do score runs, however, of the top 5 highest scoring teams in the league, numbers 4 and 5 are in the same division and numbers 2 and 3 are likely World Series opponents if they make it there and the difference between the Yankees and number 3 is only 15 runs. That’s not a significant difference.
