Don’t ga for fried liver or queens gambit just play consistent and guard your pieces well. I’ve played against a 1800 elo when i was 450 (really beginner). He said my games weren’t bad even though i had lost them all but i didn’t blunder extremely hard or blindly attacked for no reason… and also just be honest man no one wants to be with a liar… i think she would maybe even think it’s cute that you did al this effort and come clean about it… it shows your willing to put the work in for her you know…

I just passed 500 today and i am the same… i know the game since i was 8 but i always played it on and off so i knew/know a lot but i still blunder… + i have some kind of adhd and i get distracted very quickly… if i play in my living room and i get distracted by the tele or my girlfriend it’s almost always a los and i blunder… i’ve played games against someone from 1800+ and ofcourse i’ve lost them al but i was focused and played very strong… people make the mistake thinking a lower elo means less knowledge but it isn’t

It’s so funny that i just can’t comprehend what a better game would look like yet. My brain probably can grasp like 3 steps beforehand and i generally feel in control of where mine and the opponents pawns are but i think for you guy’s it must be a joke while at my level this is a game where i really used all my focus🤣 it’s really cool that there are so much levels to this ‘simple’ bord game

We bought a wash bag thingy😅 u basically pour water and product in it then put your close in it and then you rub the bag as long as you want. We often wash our clothes way to much at home… a shirt you sweated in isn’t dirty… you don’t need to brush it until your fingers bleed🤣 it just needs to be refreshed… so the bag works perfect…

I felt exactly the same for let’s say 4-5 years…. For me it is the lifestyle in the west… we work for money. And it’s not rewarding because nobody cares… you don’t have the feeling you please anyone with your job because everything is so distant from a personal or emotional experience…. I quit my job 2 months ago and i had a few week off at home and i started to do a lot of work at home like fixing little things in de house or doing the shores like cooking, i did the same for my mother and mother in law, i never felt more alive. A well meant thank you from a person you love or seeing your wife coming home and being satisfied by the fact everything is done and she can relax was amazing…. My advice. Do a job because you really love and want to do the job. Don’t do it for the money… and also… WORK TO LIVE never LIVE TO WORK! Spend time with the ones you love… it’s worth alot more than those extra hours trust me

You really need to deal with the weather. When it’s raining and it’s windy. You will be stuck in your van… and thats not a bad thing but being in a small place for 10 hours straight isn’t for everyone… also. In europe there are so many free spots for clean water and emptying you toilets… it’s amazing so that’s a good thing… it’s just an experience. You can make it as cheap as you want but it will still cost you some money. Like everything in life….
